@wonderoftech Thank you! Congrats to your daughter - those applications are a lot of work. EA is a great option when you are not 100% sure.
Completing applications early is always great. It allows more time to proof read and enjoy the college journey a bit more. As far as hearing early from a school, it is dependent upon the school. You would have to contact their admissions office and ask them directly.
Enjoy this time - before you know it, you'll be dorm room shopping!!

@dadblunders Aaron - Great comment about Economics. I worry about students who are competing for jobs and need a BS or a masters now. So if students don't t to college - where will they be when job hunting - it is a huge growing problem
