@A WHOLE NEW PURPLE (drank) @Tony Fernandez (SVS Afficionado) If Ned was going to option Kershaw, he would have done it already for another utility guy like Herrera.
@I Alivandi @EephusBlue I'd much rather have Maddon than Scioscia.
@capnsparrow Awesome...stealing :P
@captain communist MSTI is an inappropriate forum for this subject. I mean, shouldn't you be posting male to female conversion advice on a SF Giant board?
@Bob Meripol @LA_Woman Favorite line in the whole movie at 0:05-0:07.
@Bob Meripol I'm not taking it back!
@captain communist Well then SCREW THAT GUY.
Poor @GordonMoody on Twitter seems to be obsessed with why @LakersNation refers to Coach D'Antoni as #pringles. It has sort of been a meme for awhile. http://www.basketballboard.net/mike-dantoni.jpg
Posting it here because no Twitter account.
Damn, he really crushed that. And Mike, it's "rein it in" :)
Leadoff spot vs righty starters: Crawford
vs lefty starting pitchers: Mark Ellis
And Mark Ellis bats 8th against righty starters: Crawford, AJ Ellis, Gonzalez, Kemp, Ethier, Ramirez, Cruz, M Ellis, pitcher's spot
Odd that Castle isn't on the list. You'd think they'd invite at least one infielder.
@Bill Grabarkewitz Only giving up Dee, Joc, and Zach
Also, Spanish grammar FAIL
Just curious. After Kennedy hit his HR, why didn't Donny put in Cruz in the bottom of the inning for defense? There was no way that Lincecum was going to make it to Kennedy's spot in the order again, and Kennedy's history with Lincecum was the sole reason he was in the lineup. Granted, our heart of the order was awful, but Donny's decisions were an equal factor in costing us the game.
Colletti was the one who traded Milton Bradley and Antonio Perez to Oakland for Andre Ethier. That was a major coup. However, he was also the one who took a peek at Jason Schmidt's MRI, saw that he had a torn rotator cuff, and then signed him anyway for three years and $47 million.
Ha! I just saw ESPN's creepy camera guy standing behind Chipper!
@Crow T Robot SON OF BEETCH. SHEET!
@Mike Petriello @LA Woman He's crushing everything from the middle in. And by "in," I mean anything as far as six inches inside. No idea why pitchers don't try to sit on the outside corner with him, but as long as they keep throwing inside, I'm happy.
My theory on Cruz from a week ago was confirmed by TBLA Eric yesterday. Recent switch to open stance/leg stride. He said he hated his old weak swing. Specifically mentioned the big stride, but you can't have that without starting in the open stance.
