I'm glad you know what people want. I guess that also means the thousands of fans that donated money to this movie you swear no one cares about are just haters who donated their money so that the AVGN movie fails and James slips into obscurity again.
Last I checked most of the folks following James's site are behind him 100%. The ones who aren't are the gimme gimme gimme brats who just know what they like and can't be bothered to wait/understand/imagine anything else.
Ahh you can always tell who are the devoted fans and who comes here once in a while and feels entitled to free entertainment.. Thanks for the video's guys. I actually appreciate what you're doing. The fucktards who log in demanding more avgn new episodes obviously can't be bothered to follow the site and read other posts on here which SEVERAL TIMES OVER have explained there will be no more AVGN new episodes while the movie is in production...
Haha kool. Always nice to see you on camera a bit more. And you do a solid Elmo impression, I almost wish you got to do re-dub's of some of the scenes and altered the elmo lines(with the way puppets talk, could be pretty convincing). Though it'd take up a lot of time vs something simple like you did here. Was fun though. :)

Firewall_Philip_Hanan Considering how short those Thumb movies are, It'd be kool to just do a handful of them (handful of thumbs..*snicker*) all together. I'd really love to hear Mike and Jame's response to seeing them all though. Especially since they did Thumb Wars and Frankenthumb.

I actually like how you chose a theme for the review and stuck with it (comparisons and rip offs) rather than sticking with the usual formula of summary, satire and slam it. :) It made more sense and was definitely a lot more fun to watch rather than you trying to make sense of the movie in some way to us and everyone watching and.. scratching their heads..lol..

Very kool. I like that you did a bit of animation for the in-jokes. Since you have an art background and we all know you can draw great, it'd be a nice way to create your own unique edge to all these projects by working that angle. I don't think it'd need ot be insanely overanimated or a screen joke every 10 seconds, but i do really enjoy seeing you get creative like that. :)
Ahh HAusu, I caught wind of this a few years ago and at that time it was next to impossible to find a hard copy so I snagged the AVI to see WTF it was about. Now I have the bluray. Such a great old flick...
I'm a bit sad to see the format change for your Monday reviews, but hey not a big deal. Going simple isn't really a bad thing, takes less time to make the video's and I am sure Mike has plenty on his plate right now as it is.
I do feel bad for Mike. James is away doing the movie, there is a backlog of video's to help fill in the gap of him being gone but the fans are always hungry for more and the format of a new bit of content every other day is a large hole to fill. Mike takes up the torch to offer up what he can and all he gets is grief from AVGN fans no matter what he's doing... sheesh... I'd rather see stuff from mike then drop down to seeing only 1 new video a week. though to be honest if the site dropped to 1 bit a week I'd still be ok with that too.
Yer doin great Mike. If I had the time to drive way down to philly to shake yer hand and buy you a beer, I certainly would. Maybe soon!

the last line James says actually got me thinking. If we found a way to teleport matter from one space to another (and I recall an article stating a team of scientists managed to actually do this with a simple molecule or something a few years ago) what kind of insane experimentations would end up happening to try and say.. send matter to another planet? Would we have to launched and land a rocket on the other planet and then teleport stuff there ? Would make mass colonisation or terraforming a lot faster.
but more to the original statement.. I wonder if scientists would try to use the technology to find alternate dimensions, or heaven/hell. If we did figure out a way to alter the tech for teleportation to send matter or people to the afterlife ... what would happen? Would it be safe to allow anyone to come back? would leaving the portal open for a moment to return possibly bring something back?

BatmanTheThird hells yeah. every time i watch Being Human I imagine it is James.. loads of fun and in some scenes, an uncanny resemblance.
doralsoral i watched that streaming on netflix a number of years ago.. it is actually a pretty fascinating, funny movie. Not anything I'd have expected. I think all kids need to be forced to watch it when they are in kindergarden! yeaaahhh

Cute. though it'd have been funner to do a bit more narrative where by playing the game, james and Mike are altered for life to forever cheer and smile when they see someone walking their dog, just as the dog is going to shit. Or have them actually walk the plastic dog and make it shit in public to get people's reactions.. or trying to attach a hand-pump similar to whats on the doggy doo toy to a real dog to help it shit... ahh.. fun.
but still, a cute one. I am a little amazed the game was made yet they didn't make BROWN or even tan gack for it rather than the yellow stuff.. if yer gonna doo it.. go ALL THE WAY :)
Congrats on the successfuly survive of a lengthy 5 day trip with 2 cats. I did a road trip from upstate NY through Missouri to Arizona over a few days when I moved out there a few years back, then drove back with one of our cats in my car from AZ to NY again and.. it wasn't an easy drive. You have a lot of Stamina to be that awake and energetic after so much monotony. It's a hell of a drive...
Did you like seeing sand dunes at the az/ca border? pretty wild after miles and miles of unremarable Arizona(I noticed you sort of skipped past it in your commentary.. lol).
Big McLargehuge Great movie, one of my top fave's as a KID. How many other movies of that time merged hollywood and Video Gaming into a great action spy thriller for kids? I need ot check that out again.. would be interesting to see how well it holds up. :)
Starone56 Couldn't agree with you more. I'm Native American and have enjoyed these videos for a few years now and I don't see any indication of catering. I think James has shown that really, bad language, hate of shitty games and shit jokes are universal. Who knows.. maybe he'll help create world peace through our mutual appreciation of his work. :)
Ok likely not. But I think the idea holds up; his humor may have drawn a certain demographic but it is by no means intentional. I don't recall this being the "Angry Video Game White Nerd".

haha ok that was well done and fun. only weird thing was your narration for most of it comes through loud and clear from my front stereo speakers, but for one shot of you in front of the camera it shifts completely to the rear speakers.. then back to front again as the off screen narration continues.. just.. odd.. lol.
