This is the way drifting should be, or if not the Red Bull should take this on a global roadshow!

Love this build, its great when people take a car and turn it on its head. People may hate it others like me will love it but the best thing about it is that someone out there is doing it.

I run an instagram page called #TrackAddict and a few of the girls you posted there are followers, but I would say females only make up 1% of our members.
Im slowly making my wife a car person... She may well be buying her first set of after market wheels soon!

Love this project, the fact its going to piss a lot of purists off is a good thing, I only have horrible memories of a Mk1 Golf Cab so im happy to see this one cut up!
K20 engine is a great choice, bomb proof reliable and loads of potential for more powaaah!

I hate to be the one to do this but RML no longer run in the btcc, its 888 that prepare the MG's.
Either way great post and I love the BTCC, ever since 1998 ive been to every round at donington, wouldnt miss one for the world!
3 months, 2 weeks ago on Warning: Maniac Drivers On The Loose
Great article, I was there on the day Matt Neal won his first race in 1999, I was sat on the infield of the old hairpin as he shoved the nose of his Primera down the inside of James Thompson, the crowd literally went wild, Ive been to Donington for the BTCC every year since and Ive never felt the same level of excitement as I did on that day.
There was just something about the super touring era that makes it the greatest in the BTCC's history. Nowadays its very much a British championship but back then it was international, every big name driver wanted a crack at it!
Im just thankful I had a chance to experience it first hand.

I love that is just built to take abuse, the car serves no purpose other than to make people smile, perfect.

@BitMutt @Jason Hardy He perhaps is America's best chance of getting a team on the grid but propping up the back, any new team the starts from scratch is going to end up like Marussia, Caterham or even HRT... unless your able to buyout a team like Force India/Mercedes/Red Bull did then you haven't got a hope.
Force India have proved that by buying a small team like Jordan you can become competitive in F1.
Vijay Mallya is a prime example of how to get into and be competitive in Formula 1.
When was the last time a brand new team came into formula 1 and established themselves in the midfield... Toyota? They achieved nothing, if the worlds biggest car maker cant crack F1 then Gene Haas hasnt got a hope.
I genuinely dont think this will happen, unless you've got mega amounts of money behind you its almost impossible to get on the F1 grid, Bernie is just obsessed with having an american F1 team thats the only reason Haas has been granted entry.
There's much more capable compnaies/teams out there that could field a couple of cars.
Its an awesome car but not "car of the year" the engineered to slide space framed Hi Lux would have to be car/build of the year just because of the attention to detail and the fact it was done by one man in his own shed!
This is an awesome car, but i have to agree... it hasn't got much chance of getting to 400kmh looking like that!

There's always one....
as a road car a civic estate is pretty bland but throw some NGTC bits at it and makes for a brilliant looking racer. Im happy to see a estates on the grid, variety is the spice of life

The coupe is stunning, the duck tail boot lid is something that reminds me of the E46 CSL. Cant wait to see what happens when the tuning companies get their hands on them!

Team orders are team orders, no one is bigger than the team, in the case of mark webber he should of ran him off the road untill they collided, vettel should never have put his car in a position to get past mark in the first place. This weekend vettel showed a new side to his personalitly and its not one i like. I can understand that as a team you want a tenacious racer who will always fight for the win but what if that driver doesnt know how to take an order? Vettel will beat Webber in the championship this year anyway, thats a given but if he wants Marks help for the title later in the season has he just burned his bridges? lets say webber needs to keep alonso at bay for vettel to take the title again? I think webber would just move over, i know i would!

only looks good from one angle, bang side on, other than that its ugly, the Mclaren P1 is a much better looking car. Once again Ferrari have failed in the design of its cars.

I seriously wouldnt trust those bendable brackets, they look incredibly weak and flimsy... i cant believe a company like takata would supply such an item to fit, what is, the main safety feature of any vehicle.
You need to bolt the shoulder straps higher up if you want to that kind of setup/comprimise without a harness bar or roll cage.
submitted some pics on the flickr page, looking forward to this feature

im sorry but how can Tanner Foust win this? i love Tanner, i love who he drives for, and i love his sponsor Etnies but come on guys? its eiher Loeb, Alonso or kimi none of the others even come close, Drifting is a minnow in the motorsport world F1, WRC, DTM these guys are at the top of their games, and no one could hold a candle to any of them in any form of motorsport.
i Voted for Kimi for the best come back ive ever seen
