Record attendance in Tallahassee is 84,500 (OU, 2011). I think the avg of 72,000 is so awful due to the majority of our OOC games. If Noles join SEC (or even B10 for that matter), I'm guessing the stadium size would increase significantly.

Ditto. Yep, sure wish Saint Bobby had wanted to join the SEC. Obviously hoping for a second chance. Dream: FSU joins SEC; we retire in 20 years in either Jacksonville or Pensacola depending which division/pod we're in; purchase Class A RV; go to every home/away football game and a bunch of basketball/baseball games; knock out more national championships; die with a smile on my face.

@BobbyandBear @eponymous @JRsec Yes indeed. Sure wish my man Saint Bobby would've supported it. We'll see if we get a chance. Latest rumor is B1G Presidents gave the ok for Delaney to get FSU. Academic wonks would want to join the best academic conf vice best football conf. Sports-minded alums that I know prefer SEC. BTW, prayer has been sent ;-)

Speaking of when we joined the financial big dog at the time some "20 years ago", I guess the shirt I had that said "Hey SEC, Kiss my ACC" has kinda backfired :-) Sure hope we get a second chance.

Another great read! Really (I mean, REALLY) appreciate you taking the time to do this Big Bang series! Great insight and perspective. Looking forward to seeing how things transpire. Appears to be a win-win for FSU -- we either join a mo betta conference (my preference) or the ACC somehow gets stronger (unlikely).
