@areayewhy @CDSpark We all know Memphis is lost without gay.
1 year, 11 months ago on Oklahoma City posters the Suns, 102-90
@Lost Ones You mean Kobe guarding the best perimeter offensive player?
@RRRWHATEVER 18.5 ahead of NOLA, last in the conference.
@okcjim Haha! What was his response. Maybe: "uh.... what?"
@ThunderBelize I went to Belize in the last month! Are you from there/live there?
@MisterJohnsonOKC @KellOne @Skyline @RRRWHATEVER @diddoff Yes, but not 1.4 billion people

@MisterJohnsonOKC @kennygee90 Yep, its also designed to make you desire to "go inside [another man's] mouth".
@RWolverine It is ALWAYS a great time to stop watching baseball :)
@diddoff How many frontcourt players make it?
@RRRWHATEVER @diddoff It does make some sense that China would vote for only Houston players since Yao Ming and now Lin...
That is a good point and could actually account for Asik, Harden and Lin being voted so ridiculously high.
@diddoff Must be a typo
@diddoff Apparently, Asik got more votes than Serge. :P
@Sigmund He is shooting them more effectively than ever. His 3-pt% has been increasing year to year.
@Skyline People overreact so much to things in the NBA it is ridiculous.
After the Harden trade? LOL Thunder 2 poor ta compete 4 da title!!! They gonna suck bad!!!
Thunder starts out 1-2? OMG THUNDER NO GOOD ANYMORE! EVER!!
Westbooks assist down as Harden's playmaking goes up? Westbrook aint a PG!! He should be a SG!!! We all know better than professional coaches who've been pro's for decades!!!
@Skyline Westbrook had plenty of assist in '09-'10. Last year he took a step back in assists because of Harden stepping up as a major playmaker. Now that Harden is gone, Westbrook is back to '09-'10 levels of assist which is, what, top-15 in the league? Pretty dang good for a "selfish ball-hogging chucker who only wants a big payday".
"...getting to the line more than any team except the Lakers."
"They’ve attempted 64 fewer free throws than the Lakers, but have made 54 more.”
These can both be largely attributed to the intentional fouling of Dwight Howard.

@Thunderman haha! Just realized the inherent pun in the word "fallacy".

@Tronchaser Unless his "First Quarter MVP" is worth about "tree fiddy"
Ben Golliver's "First Quarter MVP" and a dollar fifty will get you a cup o' joe.
@f5alcon Great point!
It certainly doesn't feel like most are near poverty in OKC :) Au contraire, it's quite nice.
@BallSoHard With a name like "BallSoHard", no doubt you'd "do Maynor".
Wow! This tells you all you need to know about the Love situation:
"I don't know who labels people stars, but even [T'wolves owner] Glen Taylor said: I don't think Kevin Love is a star, because he hasn't led us to the playoffs," Love told Yahoo! Sports. "I mean, it's not like I had much support out there."
Come to OKC Love! We KNOW you're a star!!! :) We will *love* you! (pun fully intended)
@Fezzy/FreeSingletonFromWASH Ah.. I guess I'm skeptical of his trade value. Coming of a serious injury and his number from both last season and this season indicate a big fall-off from where he was in '10-11. Could it be permanent?
@BrockSuede I approve of your awesome alliteration
@diddoff @ou_sas Haha! Keeps the GM and coach motivated to follow the course..
@PerkPunt @f5alcon The TV contracts were skyrocketing each new deal from the 70s until the 90s. They kind of peaked in the early 2000's. The latest contract was basically the same as the previous in terms of $/game (especially with inflation considered). It is just a much longer contract so more money involved.
Maybe the NBA wanted more money per game and "not enough commercial time" is one of the reasons they got about the same...
OKC does not have "one-eighth or one-sixteenth of the per capita income" of Seattle!
Seattle per capita income $41,695*
OKC per capita income $25,450*
So how is 25,450/41,695 = 1/8 or 1/16!?! The actual fraction is about 3/5th. What an outlandish fallacy!
So moving a place where the corporation has less potential money to make is good for the corporation and bad for the people?
*Data from census.gov
@diddoff If they finish in the bottom-5, they'll make sure to finish in the bottom-3 so they keep the pick >:/
Oh well, hopefully they'll finish in the bottom-5 next season so Thunder will have a good shot (Thunder will get it if its #3 to #15).
@ou_sas All this Laker bashing me is making me worry that we're going to reverse-jinx them!
@Fezzy/FreeSingletonFromWASH Statistically Jackson was actually somewhat better than maynor in terms of PER. I think the offense was more limited with Jackson (# plays), but after a year it might not be that way anymore.
The hope that Maynor will return to his former glory convinces me Thunder should keep him in over Jackson.
@TaoMaas Anything to appease the Lakers and other large-market teams the Thunder has been dominating.
@Fezzy/FreeSingletonFromWASH It's a little of both?
Oh no! Serge and the ball have an ancient pact: Serge gives it a kiss and in exchange it allows him to slap it down on opponent shots. No more kisses, no more shot blocks!
I agree the Thunder have nothing to gain by trading a PG to the Lakers. Plus, who would trust Reggie Jackson to take over Maynor's minutes for the season? That could risk ending up in the same boat as the last playoffs (when we had to bring in an old washed-up Laker to play PG).
@f5alcon @Jooseppi That article talking about if they'll exceed the 72-win record set by the bulls... Well thats no longer mathematically possible!
2 years ago on Report: Wizards turned down James Harden trade offer
@Legendary_Dork I like some Laker smack as much as the next guy and maybe Kobe's defense has taken big steps back, but offensively he is playing his best ball in several years, with a PER of 26! That is near the top of the league.
I don't think Kobe's offensive chucking is a problem. He's always been that way. The problem is no PG and no chemistry. Also, the Lakers are minus two "all-stars", are collectively old and are worn down defensively.
@Tronchaser @Jooseppi And the scuttlebutt in me approves of this comment!
@areayewhy @D-MC I know that D-MC's comment was kind of tongue-in-cheek, but do teams like Utah/Minn/Indiana/Lakers suck? I'd say "no", but they certainly aren't living up to fans expectations.
I'm glad Thunder aren't a member of the "competitive but not great" category.
@Fezzy @TaoMaas I remember reading that KD would and could play all 48 minutes a night if they let him. He apparently loved playing a lot then (2010/11 I think). This year he sounded less enthusiastic a couple times when playing so many minutes in back-to-backs.
I agree he needs a true backup. Hopefully PJ3 will develop into that role. We just need 10 mpg PJ3! Hurry up!
@Fezzy @Midnight Toker Houston is all ears! Standing by, ready to "Free" Cole!
@Zach99@Jooseppi DID YOU HEAR THEY LOST TO CLEVELAND (5*-17) LAST NIGHT?
*That was Cleveland's 5th win of the year!
@PerkPunt @ou_sas @ThunderWins @KeyserSo7e True. Even if he's in the running (getting decent # votes), it would be a big accomplishment. Especially considering how Harden didn't make it last year. Harden even said that he deserved to be on the team (kind of prideful to say that about yourself, but he was right).
@ou_sas @ThunderWins @Tronchaser DID YOU HEAR THEY LOST TO CLEVELAND (5*-17) LAST NIGHT?
@DXL @f5alcon Wow... Great points!
What if Oden was developed with more consideration to his knees? Portland was warned there was an issue and they continued to play him without changing a thing.
@ou_sas @KellOne We all felt it and all the media/nation was under the opinion "Pop's Spurs are unbeatable". Brooks and the team did a brilliant job knocking them down 4-straight. Its easy to forget that and be disappointed with the Heat series, but Spurs *should* have won. OKC & Brooks wouldn't have that
@Jooseppi @Nicky Scarfo Dang! I thought he was down to 86 a night
@ou_sas @ThunderWins @KeyserSo7e I agree.
I think this year, at best, he'll be voted as a reserve. Next year? Who knows. I think it'll take about 17ppg, a little closer to 10 rpg for him to get in. His league-leading 3bpg helps.
He definitely has a good rep (got voted 2nd in defensive POY last year). Now he has to establish the offensive side in the eyes of the people :)
@Nicky Scarfo An NBA-leading 17-4 after a *rough* start. What moves could possibly be needed?
