Packing my bags now. Can't wait to see everyone! Looking forward to a great social media event!!
All I have to say is it is comforting to know that someone who I thought would always have something to "blog" about also at times is at a loss for topics (although you really did share while saying nothing!) It's also amazing that you saying "nothing" can generate so many comments but then again you are a "thought leader"!
I just noticed something while reading your blog. I never have a problem apologizing in my professional life but sometimes do in my personal life. What's that all about? Should I even be admitting it :)
Love your "anatomy of a good apology". I need to share!
autumnmthompson Autumn, I had to laugh! I couldn't have written it any better. That's exactly how I felt. I don't comment a lot (for these exact reasons) but have gotten better. It gets a little easier each time!
Very helpful post Lisa. I really like the list, 5 Ways to Comment. I just started a blog and I would really like to receive comments. Now I need a list of ways to comment on comments! Those same "insecurities" still exist.
Gini, great tool. I think I'll wait a bit but something I can use in the future, since I'll be blogging on a regular basis :)
Great post Tony. I've been getting quite a bit of encouragement to start a blog but have been putting it off for ever thinking about the whats, whos, ifs, when, etc. Well, enough of that. I am about to jump off the fence and you've made some great points to help me through the process. Thanks!
Great info Gini. I had gotten a differing opinion from someone on Twitter. I did respond and realized that person wanted to "go at it". I learned really quick that there are times you don't have to respond.
No crisis had occured!
