@HorshamScouse I call it like I see it...
@GaryGeiger THAT is awesome!
I just want to see some sign that these guys are willing to move on from their mistakes of the last season-and-a-month. But I'm not seeing it...
I guess I'm back in pre-2004 mindset...low expectations...
I think if the guy has ANY competitive spirit, he would want to get better. Just saying "hey, I won 15 games and pitched 200 innings" isn't good enough. There is always room for improvement and he should WANT to improve.
Red and I have plans for a weekly podcast during the season. Of course, we had plans to be bigger than deadspin and to retire by 30...
Other than Hanrahan, I think they overpaid for average guys. I think I'd prefer Morse over the oft-injured Napoli.
The perfect ending to the season
@GaryGeiger I only wish he had the big 'fro going in that pic
Folks at the park also get pretty damn excited about Sweet Caroline and the wave. The point is, today's media coverage (and fans who call in to the radio stations) would rather talk about Steven Ridley's running game or Wes Welker's contract status than the Red Sox win.
@alexis_b82 Welcome to the party. Did you bring some outs???
@Section 36 That is insanity. They HAD to be at the park to play a baseball game!!! A funeral is a show of respect to a person's legacy and his family. It isn't something you pick a few people to "represent" at.
I don't understand why Red mentioned Seals and Crofts along with all that bad stuff.
I don't think there is a single drop of awesome left in this team.
@VJ in Stuttgart I agree but I think BV has to go. Been out of the game too long, can't handle the players, doesn't make great decisions. Cherington? Not sure about him.
