@GarrettCRW I hear you bro. You shouldn't restrict yourself to only celebrating Red Sox victories. Anytime the Yankees lose, I rejoice!

Bailey hasn't been done inspiring either; 4.50 era, opponents batting .280 against him. The guy has big shoes to full. Something for Sox brass to consider: Beach Boy Brian Wilson, the bearded hick from Londondery, NH is a free agent after this year.

Tito: 10 Days (starting today) for John Henry to decide if Bobby Valentine would look good in a Sox uniform or pick up Tito's option.

Old man Steinbrenner was never the same after '04. The bowels went shortly after the dementia set in following the Sox bitch slapping comeback in '04. He lingered on for a few years, with nurses wiping his chin of drool and his ass of shit. He was finally sent over the edge last year, when Swisher swung and missed during the AllStar game Home Run Derby that Big Papi dominated and won. Fuck him and fuck the Yankees.

Gutsy performance by Buckholtz getting in and out of a jam in the 7th, throwing heat; and a nice poke off the wall by Salty when it mattered. MOJO is on!

@Richinthegarage Rich, not pissing on the parade bro, just got this vibe with Wakefield is all. Kind of like standing in line at the pisser at Fenway, and guy behind you is about to upchuck onto to your back.

No days off until June 2nd. Might be good time to sit back, rest a day, and crack a few and enjoy the good times.

I'm not much for fiction but Palahniuk has some funny shit. To each his own.

This was a BIG TIME turning point win last night. Kind of like the Mother's Day comeback in '07. Finally over that dreaded sub .500 mark.

I don't like Wakefield tonight though. Bad vibe with him pitching in the cold rain; the knuckleball bouncing around to the backstop with runners on bases type of vibe. Maybe a little rain would do us good today.

Speaking of JD Drew, watching him at bat, slack jawed, limp wristed, swinging and missing at a pitch down and away, makes the watcher believe that, well, it's over; and an unconditional release is imminent. Wouldn't be any big loss to the Sox and it might light a fire under some of the other slackers. Memorial Day and June are right around the corner. Time to Cowboy Up. Cut the fat and lets start playing some fucking baseball!

Rain is good. It refreshes the soul and breaks losing streaks from snowballing ever more. It feeds the green grass of Fenway.

As I drudge away in my cubicle bunker this morning, with the phone ringing off the hook, and work pilied all around me, my daughter sends me a text message. It's a photo of her with Clay Buckholtz, at some charity event this morning. She's smiling. He's smiling. I look at the picture and can't help but smile myself. All is still good in Red Sox nation. Tomorrow is another day...

@Red The dude looks F''ing clueless, turning around on the mound, looking up, watching the ball leave the park.

Now, it's just getting ridiculous. The "pitching". The "hitting".

2 and F**KING 9!

Tampa Bay opens a 16 oz can of Whoopass the night before IN OUR HOUSE and all these guys can respond with the next day is 5 hits and 2 runs to waste a halfway decent effort by Lester.

No leadership. No fire. If I see any of these guys laughing it up during the game tomorrow, I'm going to puke.
