I know It sounds lame, but I'd choose a 24v 3.6l VR6 swapped mk1 berg cup rabbit. R drivetrain with a dsg gearbox. Supercharger for the low end power, and a big Borg Warner turbo for the top end power.

You can either define a supercar by its specs, or by your mental manifestation of the car. i believe a supercar is Something completely and ridiculously impractical. Something that makes a grown man giggle and smile under acceleration. Something that kids would post on their walls. Something that isn't practical or cheap, but is totally worth it if you can afford it, because it makes you smile. A Supercars isn't something expensive or Italian, it's something that's fast, fun, and is super to you. Its something that is something you've wanted and dreamed about for years, something that would be hard to pay for, but something you know you must have someday.
