@sawxfan28 "To say that Lackey had a "bad attitude" could be the most ridiculous comment of the entire post "
You're right. He doesnt have a bad attitude. he is an all-round great guy. I mean, besides his part in the 2011 collapse. or yelling at his infielders, and blaming them for his pitching woes, like a texas-sized aceves. Or his attitude in the clubhouse with the chicken and beer crew. or, you know, cheating on me and divorcing me while I went through chemo treatments...that doesnt mean anything. Im sure than other than that, he's a great guy.
sincerely
- krista clark
They should have made aceves pitch all 9 innings, let the bullpen have the day off. Forget about pitch counts - 150 pitches, 200 piches...whatever. dusty baker his fucking ass (and i mean that in the kerry woods/mark prior career trajectory sense of the word). Make him pitch all 9, then DL his ass, then DFA his ass. Then han solo his ass so he cant come back and hunt us down
@Richinthegarage @KTMFF That's gonna merit a beating. Youre gonna be limping down the aisle, motherfucker
Im on board with calling Napoli "The Real Napster". Mostly because i like seth green
@YDDE @KTMFF @Madraider @BB.13 no, but i think iglesias just cant hit AAA hitting, what will he do in the majors? you have to expect at least 250 for a hitter. iglesias...cant do that in most probability. utility guy? maybe. but he wont have much of a career in the majors. he just didnt have enough to make the jump for a full time job with THIS team
@Madraider @KTMFF @BB.13 @YDDE what im saying is that it can be taught
@Madraider @KTMFF @BB.13 @YDDE yes, because agon has been a aparagion of patience this year. the whole team has gone away from taking pitches. plus, when you are as hot as he is - swing the fuck away.
@BB.13 @KTMFF @YDDE same here, but do you put him at short? (plus, he's not young anymore). boot aviles? (i think we can give up on jose iglesias at this point. he makes punto look like trout)
@English Sox Fan i wont argue you are wrong (BRNG BACK DR ANDREW! and papa jack). but the legnth of his injury time, both 2 years ago and this year...speaks to a cetain bit of softness i dont care for
@BB.13 @KTMFF @YDDE he WAS a dirt dog. he has turned into a sniveling bitch who blames everyone for his hitting whoes besides himself. also: already peaked. we have seen his best. you dont pay for past pefornce. plus: hello ciraco
but ells will be seeking a deal worth 8 years at 19 million. sox will argue injury history, and would want a 5 year/15 per kind of deal. it's doable though
@YDDE im all about trading pedroia. he has peaked as a hitter. and he isnt a leader, or at least not in a non-mutinous way
and no, it isnt about freeing up money. there is nothing on the market to free it up for. though ortiz will get a 2 year deal, with an option for a 3rd, probably club option. and you might see an effort to sign ells long-term
@Madraider @KTMFF entitled fuckign idiots. ala yankee fans
@Madraider @KTMFF then the fan base is a bunch of fucking idiots
@Corky @Madraider no, he isnt, he will want a 7-8 deal worth 25 million each year.
@Madraider you are missing the point of the trade
@kfish it isnt money being moved to sign ANYONE. we arent going after josh hamilton, we arent going after grienke, we are not giving out long term deals. the whole purpoise of this trade - which, if we get anything back is a plus - is to go back to theo-ball, which epstein himself he got the fuck away from with the CC and agon deals. this is a good thing.
