This is how desperate I have become.....last night on Facebook I posted "Let's go Yankees", 3 words I have never said nor written in my entire life. I have a Sox tattoo, okay? :) Believe me, it killed me. It blew A LOT of people's minds, but the true Sox fans shared my feelings. Think about if Tampa had won just ONE of those games. Yikes.

September 2011 has been one of the WORST in Red Sox history. But if you look at the remaining games we have left (3 Yankees 3 O's), the 7 Tampa has left (3 Jays 3 Yankees), the 2 1/2 game lead we have, and the Yankees already clinching factor (resting players, etc.), if we DON'T make the playoffs from this point on, in my opinion this will be the greatest collapse in Sox history. Has any one even mentioned a tie? Being a Diehard Sox fan my entire life, nothing would surprise me come next Wednesday. Nothing.
I loved Jim Ed's comment during last night's post-game show when asked about today's off-day, Rice: "It's a BAD day." He went on to say that that most players would rather play and not have to think about the whole implosion.
