Pretty random, lol.
Shia LaBeouf: "A man owns up. That's why Mark McGwire is not a man. A man grasps his mistakes."
Was anyone lucky in buying opening day Tickets?
@Mike Petriello @SCruzOptimusDamus @DavePomerantz oh............................................................
He is out of options
I don't think Wright is nearly as good as Soriano at all, just having fun hehe
Funny, bored stat looking.. just proving that you can use many sample sizes/singular stats to make crazy claims:
In 2012, R. Soriano and Jamey Wright both pitched 67.2 IP. Jamey Wright's FIP was only 0.07 higher than Soriano's, and his xFIP was .20 lower
@Bob Meripol @Mike minimal; Eli Whiteside got claimed by everybody and George is better
Buster Olney and Ken Gurnick saying Dodgers are possibly looking at Scott Rolen.
@Gilbert_Vengeance Nah we're cool. Maybe she has some remedy from Barbados to fix his shoulder. Or maybe she can tell him to watch out for walls. But probably, they aren't dating
@Mike Petriello Yeah I know, the comparisons aren't great at all and you can twist the samples in many ways given that they'd had crazy stretches. Just fun.. Soriano is obviously better but it's good bait to troll ppl with
@Mike Petriello check this out, same two people but past 2 calendar years: http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=pit&lg=all&qual=0&type=8&season=2012&month=11&season1=2012&ind=0&team=0&rost=0&age=0&filter=&players=3731,1100
Just for shits and giggles, and cause Dave Cameron does this all the time to mock Brandon League, here is Brandon League and Rafael Soriano side by side in the 2nd half: http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=pit&lg=all&qual=0&type=8&season=2012&month=31&season1=2012&ind=0&team=0&rost=0&age=0&filter=&players=3731,1100
(34 IP is obviously not a good sample, it's just for funzies)
@Disgruntled Goat @EephusBlue Maybe yeah. It'd suck for Seattle to have to see Upton go to Texas, damn I woulda loved Upton to go to Seattle
Woah, Upton rejected a trade to the Mariners :O
Corey Hart spent some time leading off.. only 16 games but I mean I think it's cool to have a slugger type of guy leading off.
@NTAC A bit yeah, but I feel as if he'll have a different role with the Dodgers than what he did previously. I feel as if before, he wasn't a strict LOOGY but just a one inning reliever, and I think he'll be used more often as a LOOGY rather than as a one inning reliever, so we might see different trends for him. The walks are a bit scary but I trust the pitching staff to use him nicely.
@Bob Meripol wait, scratch what I said about 3B... seems as if he is mostly a LFer, but point remains that I think he'd cost a bit considering age and what they feel his upside is.
@Bob Meripol a lot considering he is only 23, regarded pretty highly in the ChiSox organization, and 3B is a position that is thinner than Dee Gordon.
