Got up, Sox ahead 1-0.

Watched Buchholz walk everbody twice and give up 6 off what seemed like 2 hits.

Left for work Sox down 1-6.

Checked score at dentist: 6-6 tied and game in delay.

Checked score again two hours later: Sox win 8-6 and the streak is at 1 and counting.

I should go to work more often.

The Ashes cricket series in my timezone will fill some time. Occasional local softball to remind me of the other bat and ball game. Otherwise, checking out the trade rumours, spamming Boras about Ells, the usual stuff. When's Truck Day?

Napoli needs to go some to beat Freddie Flintoff, England all round cricketer, who was drunk for at least 24 hours after England won the Ashes in 2005. Including at the team formal reception on the evening of the win, at a reception with the Prime Minister in Downing Street the following day, in Trafalgar Square at a televised rally for the team and on the team's open topped bus parade through London (somewhere, I have video of this).

If Mikey Naples is drunk when the team meets Obama I'll be impressed; drunk on Letterman doesn't count.

I was there for the whole game, following on Gameday until the final out when I knicked the host's wifi and switched to the tv feed. The last day of the course was something of a blur as was the evening. Off to a winery looking for a hairy dog.
