To be fair, he went 1 for 7 with a couple strikeouts. Don't wanna gyp him outta a few percentage points.

Give him a few years and perhaps he'll be able to afford the other "l" for his name.
Let us not forget tho that the real story of the day is that Wil Myers went like 1 for 8 with a few strikeouts.
....and Bailey gets the win. (what a stupid stat)
Rhoont!!
I don't know, Hannah. I kinda like walks in the 9th. ;-)
This pitching change allows Nava to hit lefty again. :-)
Highest batting average on the Sox from the 7th inning on.
That'd be a tough move bc he has to be treated with such kid gloves. They try to never use him on back to back nights, etc. which is untenable for a closer.
When both Bailey and Hanrahate were on the shelf earlier this year Farrell turned to Tazawa.
@GarrettCRW @Sox in the Desert
That will only happen if Eric Spoelstra doesn't know enough basketball to make a halftime adjustment.
Oh wait, you're right.
I hate being right.
Not sure I woulda called on bailey here with Doubront at under 100 pitches.
He's got fully half of his team's points.
Perhaps now Miami will realize they might maybe just need to add a center to their roster.
Luckily that will get him back to his hotel room quicker so he doesn't have to spend any more of his valuable time at our "dump" of a ballpark.
