@HorshamScouse You mean they don't have American Memorial Day everywhere in the world?
6 months ago on John Farrell Has Had Enough of this Losing Streak
@Jennie Who? Who?
(Is that what we used to say?)
Sounds like lots of Sox fans in attendance.
@GarrettCRW @Sox in the Desert Sutcliffe, ABoone and the talking head.
They're actually making good points - supported w video - about Clay's mechanics.
ESPN announcers all over the Sox organization for not fixing Clay. Saying to fix it is "easy".
After watching less than 1 inning of this crap I may just call it a day and wait for Lester vs. Harang tomorrow night.
Today's loss, thy name is JBJ.

Beat him like a rented mule!!!
6 months, 3 weeks ago on So, Mike Napoli, Who’s Gonna be the Hero of Today’s Red Sox Game?
@GarrettCRW You're obviously a racist.
If this were water polo the Bruins would be ahead right now.
And YOU get a Grand Slam.
And YOU get a Grand Slam.
EVERYBODY gets a Grand Slam.
The Red-jinx hits Napoli wicked hahd.
Trying to avoid all media on the games today but knew I could trust you to avoid the nut punch.
I will now be in the basement til tomorrow night.

Taz has been a little Michael J Fox recently, eh?
@Sharpie Tuff crowd.
@Sharpie @Sox in the Desert aaaaaand the Yankees lose. THHEEEEE YANKEES LOSE!
Did NESN's Sarah Davis just use the c-word in that update or am I hearing things (again)?
@Sharpie A little bumpy.
Why, how do you find it?
@GarrettCRW @Sox in the Desert I always do, Garrett.
I always do.
Seattle with a 2 run lead trying to close out the MFY in the 9th.
That's the good news.
The bad news is I have to root for Fernando Rodney to get it done.
Sideways hat-wearing db
@Jennie I have a naturally curious mind. Try it and let us know.
@GarrettCRW Article on Truth and Rumors today said the Sox are one of 5 teams interested in Hanrahate right now.
Reverse jinx. I win.
I can't watch them choke away another 3 walks in an inning situation
Back so soon?
Looks like maybe Drake Britton added to the roster for tonight's game
I'd walk the Large Father here.
Course, that's mostly bc I have a bet on the Sox to win by 2 and I'd need a 3 run HR to get there.
Uh oh. Do they just walk Papi now?
@Sharpie Yeah. I got DP'd in that bar in Tijuana and I don't recommend it.
Oh wait, you mean Double Play, right?
Every little thing...
@VJ in Stuttgart Especially bc the pitching matchup for G2 is not our friend.
Especially, especially bc Zobrist, while bitching about the double header, said that it'd all be fine when they swept both games today.
@VJ in Stuttgart @Sox in the Desert Yeah, but that is Butter's style. I guess we know that going in.
He puts pressure on a defense and makes them make a perfect play.
The Rays did.
Fuck this. I'm gonna go make myself a sammich.
I expect a different result when I return.
Butterfield was that pissed cuz he's the one who sent Pedey with only 1 out
@Sharpie "conclusive" may be a problem here
@Sharpie Really fast pitches go out of the park really, really fast.
@VJ in Stuttgart 3 are from the NSA and 2 more are in drones.
Well, the good news is that a late inning comeback/walkoff win will give the boys some Mo going into tonight's tilt.
Ohhh, nobody warned me it was going to be THIS kind of game.
@GarrettCRW @VJ in Stuttgart ewwww
Hate this Escobar dude.
Million dollar ability and a 10 cent head.
(Plus his views on "Livin la vida jota")
Our "Lyric Little Bandbox" is working against us today.
A Pesky homerun and an easy fly to right that's an out in any park with more than 3 feet of foul space.
No reason to throw Loney any strikes here. Careful Peave
@VJ in Stuttgart In the most frustrating manner possible. Lots of LOBsters on our side and a cheapie HR on theirs.
It's early yet.
@GarrettCRW @Sox in the Desert@Jennie It started with tequila shots and the bar manager asking me if I'd ever ridden a burro. When I said no but I'd like to he hooked me up.
I didn't understand that I'd be on the bottom.
Live and Learn.
I once took an extended dinner and woke up working at a Tijuana whorehouse. But that's a story for another day.
@GarrettCRW Yeah, Maddon may have outsmarted himself by not pitching Archer in game 1 to have a fresher pen in the nightcap.
Come to think of it, if I were the Rays I'd rather have Archer-Peavy and then Ramos-Doubront. That seemingly puts both games on even footing rather than this one where the Sox have a decided advantage (-155 here in Vegas)
