He colored the logo over because this was his first year at UCF and they were an Adidas school. At the end of the season Jordan Brand came to sponser them.

i'm not opposed to it completely. i never really minded the fire red 3's when they yellowed and it would add something to a relatively bland mocha 3 if the heel tab and midsole were yellow
