@Red @Fla Beck/Becky And a Cashman/Headwarmer dialogue with the "coup of the century". I think some genius thoughts (or PBR leftovers) are forthcoming

You were great while you were here Ells, now break a leg (and fully recover and lead a wonderful life hitting .220)

Now I must hit iTunes and download it. Thanks.

Would it have been better if the cop pulled the vehicle over and the goat was driving and Canseco was wearing diaper in the back of the truck? Didn't think so.

Hmmm, I think as a one year part time guy he will be just fine. He'll break camp with Ross and split time with him. And we have Lavarnway available as well. And this bridges nicely to the youngsters in the system like Swihart and Vazquez.
Nice having you here Salty, but time to move on.

Well, he seems like a good dude. And I'm OK with that.

I think 2004 was THE one. Given that the turning point was the lowest of low blows, the 2003 ALCS, because the MFY's unceremoniously booted us in game 7. That was just a dagger in our hearts. But the team was very close, and we added what we needed to get over the hump. CHB did get it right. Now I need to dip my fingers in acid for typing that. 2007 was just a team that came out of the gates as a good to great team that became a great team. They were on a mission and got it done. They rank #3.
Of course, this season's team is a close #2 to the 04' squad. Because they came from being the worst to competitive to first in a span of about 180 days. The bombings were horrific, and was a way to have something to rally to. Love the heart and spirit of these guys, but they were not the 2004 bunch.

These greedy !@#%!$% will vary the pricing depending on the standings (at least that is what I am getting from this)? I'll go, but smuggle in beer and popcorn. Bastards.

You know, I think this is one time where I really do not want him to go. I think he "owes us" in his mind. Signed the big deal and pitched like crap until this season. I think he wants to be the #3 or 2 on the staff.

If I could ensure one of our drones "accidentally" placed a Hellfire on his head, I would do it. Worthless scumbag.
He can have his opi ion, but it is like an asshole.

If we don't sign this guy, we need to fire everyone (except Pedie and Papi).

@Tex19 @Ozma I am the same Tex. My dad is very much a baseball guy (MFY fan), but did not play sports with me as a kid. I did it on my own. Each person has a story to tell, whether it's a close family friend or relative that got them into whatever endeavor they love.
But my love of baseball was because of a man who is no longer on this earth. He was a great uncle to me. He was the one to really push baseball on me (yep, another MFY fan). But at least he would have a valid argument (Dale Murphy or Jim Rice as an example). I miss him dearly and wish he were here to see this, because it would have drove him crazy seeing the Red Sox win. I miss you Uncle Charlie. I really miss you.

I want someone to share your comment on Pinterest (link above) . All those stay at home types would shit their pants. I approve of your sentiment.

I do want to send a big shout out to the following peeps on here:
Renton (technically two people): Thanks for putting up with us crazy followers of your diatribe/humor/lack of humor. This was alwyas a place to seek solace after a nut crunching loss or comment after a tit-pounding victory.
ESF: I finally caught up with this elusive fan, and I believe we are related in some way. Keep up the faith brother, and next time I will park in a 24 hour garage.
Hayes: Thanks for putting up with my kid and me. I am a lot more of a fan than she is, but you took us in and for that I say thanks.
And for the guy who scored tickets to see the Red Sox, and went with me even though his wife was VERY pregnant. Thanks. You know who you are (name withheld because of the whole witness protection thing)
For the rest of the crazies and Tavarez lovers out there: If we have not met, I'm sure we will. This crazy religion called the Red Sox is something you just can't shake. If I am ever in your neck of the woods, don't be surprised if I call and say lets go get a beer.
For the Red Sox, you have brought joy to me and many faithful fans. Last year was an abberation. This is the type of team Trot Nixon would have been proud of being on. And for that, thank you.
Hey brother, we missed you. I was up like ESF, except I stayed awake then worked a full day.
This was a great ride kids. Now after the naked streaking in the women's locker room at Northeastern and BU, Red will have to do an Elf n' Ells episode along with a Cashman-Headwarmer dialogue.
Congratulations to the 2013 Boston Red Sox. Boston Strong
