This kind of reminds me of the movie where the owner's kid gets put in charge and no one respects him and they all goof off and hide dog poop under his desk so he flips out and fires everyone. But usually dad comes in and makes him hire everyone back and he gives a stern but compassionate speech to everyone and then the kid mellows out and there's a musical montage by Huey Lewis and the News while everyone loads up a bunch of trucks and the kid buys donuts and coffee for everyone. Too bad John Henry is in Liverpool.

What a lot of people forget about the story on Mo getting the standing O at Fenway was that the Sox had played the MFY's the weekend before and Mo blew 2 saves I believe. One was on a home run by Tek, i'm pretty sure. That's why the ovation was so huge. He's one of a kind.
