Also, two more things: Nintendo has never, EVER released a public beta of a game on the scale of Smash Bros. before, and something like that would be unprecedented for not only Nintendo but also possibly the entire industry. Second, Activision releasing an Ouya version of COD would solidify the Ouya as an actual player in the console market, even though it would be very unlikely and would be very different from the other consoles' versions. And they may or may not decide to release last-gen ports of Modern Warfare 4 if that game will be a launch title for PS4 and NextBox. I know that Nintendo fought very hard to make sure that BLOPS2 would be available on only the Wii U and not the Wii to encourage a few more hardware sales.

I don't see how Sony would be stupid enough to market/bundle a glasses or HUD accessory with its PS4 after witnessing firsthand the failure of the 3D TV market. And I also can't see how Microsoft would be able to market and sell a projection unit. Something like that isn't designed for modern American homes; the image would be terrible and/or distorted because of the color and texture of the wall. And if everything in this article is true, that leaves Nintendo as the least gimmicky of the three hardware companies, which would be not only a complete shock but also potentially extremely profitable for Nintendo as droves of hardcore gamers disinterested in gimmicks would be buying Wii Us.
