That’s cute GSW fans…Denver played dirty?Maybe you missed the Bogut and Faried
exchange, but you’re not really used to playoff speed, so you’d probably have
to watch it again, lol. I don’t think it was a question of ‘Hitmen’, but rather
the Denver Nuggets, sticking up for themselves, and taking the power back.Even Mark Jackson, when asked last week how
he would handle Curry responded: “I’d knock him around a little bit…let him
know we’re not taking it”.Now that
Denver responds accordingly, he cries foul?Gimme a break! The Nuggets
finally found their mojo, their athleticism, and hopefully their confidence;
this could just be a bright spot that passes quickly for the nuggets, or it
could be that point George Karl referred to as the spot where a team turns its
Playoffs future around entirely.I saw
the game on my iPad, using my DISH Anywhere app. When my shift at DISH ends I flip the action
on while I ride the bus home, and it’s much nicer than staring out the window
all the way home!
As a Nuggets fan, this was an embarrassing game to
watch. We even scored 117 points and STILL got blasted! Jackson clearly
outdueled the wily George Karl, so it'll be interesting to see how GK gets his
guys motivated to step up their game, and in which ways. I saw part of
the game on the TVs here at work, and when my shift at DISH ended I hopped on
the bus and turned on my iPad to watch the second half. It had only
gotten worse by the time I tuned in for the third quarter, and I don't know HOW
you stop guys with that kind of accuracy from the perimeter. My DISH
Anywhere app lets me take all my live TV and DVR with me wherever I go, I just
hope the other bus passengers weren't too offended at me yelling at my iPad the
whole way home.

Jackson being released isn't really a game-changer for me, I didn't think he contributed that much to the team overall. Pop usually has a pretty good feel for the nature of his team, and with all those championships, fans should probably trust him when he makes decisions like this. My work schedule at DISH is crazy but I've been trying to catch as many Spurs/Western Conference games as I can lately; my new DISH Game Finder finds all the games in a matter of seconds, so I no longer have to scroll through all my sports channels to find what i want to watch. I rush out of the house too, and I love that it lets me set reminders and recordings for games during which I'll be working.

It's a real bummer for us Nuggets fans that Ty Lawson might be out, but I'm hoping that the end of the streak both relieved a bit of pressure and gave the Nuggets a dose of reality as to how beatable they can be on a nightly basis. Andre Miller makes big shots and has a great basketball IQ, but he doesn't have that youth or dynamic quality that Lawson has, and it shows. I'll be working at DISH for the first half, but on the bus ride home I'll be watching the game live on my iPad. I got the new DISH Anywhere app, which lets me take my live TV and DVR with me on the go, and I really hope the Nuggets can increase their intensity, even if they're playing some of the younger players.

I know Kansas and Indiana are good choices, perennial favorites and strong contenders at any point during the year, but I have a feeling Gonzaga could surprise a few viewers. I don't follow Gonzaga outside of the tournament, but everything I see this year points to s team steadily-rising toward the playoffs, rather than the frenetic up-and-down rankings of all the normal contenders. I've been catching up on NCAA games and stats going to and from work on the bus, and my new DISH Anywhere app lets me watch any of my home channels or DVR anywhere I go. It works for Androids too, and makes the ride to my job at DISH a lot cooler.

I'm getting ready for the tourney, and glad we have two teams in the dance from CO this year; neither won their respective divisions, but this is still a big improvement over last year! I haven't had much time to watch too many games leading up to the dance, with my weird work hours at DISH lately, but the new DISH Game Finder app for my Hopper is making a world of difference! Game Finder lets me find any game available to watch on TV, and with the insane number of teams entering each year, it saves me a ton of time from having to scroll through the guide looking for out-of-market contests. It can even schedule reminders and recordings for upcoming games, so I can stay ahead!

I'm pretty happy with my Nugget's roster at this point, but it would've been nice to have gotten a Reddick or another marksman to beef up the shooting stats. Denver relies so heavily on their inside game for points, it would be cool to have a more reliable outside shooter to complement. Either way, even though I work late nights at DISH usually, I can still watch all the action live when my shift ends. I got the new DISH Anywhere app (iOS & Android devices), and it lets me take all my live TV and DVR with me wherever I go. I like being able to watch the Nugs on the bus ride home, and my kids like having their favorite DVRs in the car on long trips. Now that I can catch it all from anywhere, I hope the Nuggets make a strong run into the playoffs, and can find a way to solidify their outside shooting with the guys they DO have.

The 'Boston Guys' are the crux of the funniest ad campaign I've seen from DISH thus far, and it's only fitting that they are helping to promote the most successful technology release from DISH as well. The new DISH Hopper is amazing, and while the commercials may have a bit of over-the-top melodrama, it really IS like taking your living room with you (minus the burnt nachos and tiny beers) on the go. These actors actually came to my work at DISH last week, and the older guy is freaking hilarious. They were all really nice, regular guys, and it was fun to be able to meet the faces of the Hopper. My favorite Hopper feature is the DISH Anywhere app, which works for both Android and iOS devices; I can take all my live TV with me on the go, and the kids can enjoy their favorite movies on long car rides. It's so much easier being able to control your TV from practically anywhere, and everyone in my family benefits!

It's almost as if the extra contests, outside of the All Star game itself, are more popular these days. Like the NFL Pro Bowl, a lot of players are more concerned with their health and contracts than with performing well. It's understandable, but makes for sloppy TV. I'm excited for the celebrity game, the 3-point contest and the Dunk spectacle, and will definitely have my DISH Hopper set to record. I've been watching a lot of out-of-market games this year, in part due to my work schedule at DISH, and also since I have the new Game Finder app. DISH Game Finder locates any games or sporting events available to watch on TV, and I can also use it to find favorite teams by name, get up-to-the minute box scores of individual games, schedule recordings, and set reminders for upcoming games and more. I love how easy it is to use, and love how much more sport I’m getting to watch lately!

Kevin Durant is, and will continue to be, one of the premier players in the league for years to come. Barring injury, there seems to be no limit to his game and what he can do on the court. I am a die-hard Nuggets fan from Denver, but it's hard to hate on a guy with moves and game like that! I like to watch OKVC games for this reason alone, and with my DISH Hopper I can record ALL my Nuggets games AND OKC games. I can store 2,000 hours of TV on the Hopper, and with the new DISH Game Finder app, finding out-of-market games has never been easier. I'm a skinny white kid who working at DISH, with NO B-Ball game whatsoever, so I probably won't buy these shoes, but I can still root with the best of 'em. The DISH Game Finder app locates any games available to watch on TV, for all kinds of different sports. I use the app to locate teams and games by name, get up-to-the minute scores of individual games, schedule recordings and set reminders for upcoming games. It saves me a ton of time from having to look for every game individually, and lets me enjoy my sports a whole lot more.

They’re hoping this will increase digital interest, but Netflix doesn’t have the capacity to be a streaming-only service, and will have to rely on the profits they make off this new plan to sustain them in the interim. I switched from Netflix to DISH after last year's price changes, and couldn't be happier. It’s true my monthly fee for DISH is higher than a Netflix customer's, but at least I know I’ll get what I pay for. This seems a bit sneaky by Netflix to just change their business model without changing the price, and customers will eventually catch on. With my Blockbuster @Home package from DISH I have access to over 100,000 games, movies, and TV shows, and can stream live, order by mail, or exchange titles at a BB store. It's really convenient to be able to just flip on the TV and browse thousands of streaming titles when I get home from work at DISH. We get movies-by-mail from time to time, but if the Post Office DOES implement the Saturday ban, we'll just stream those days.

I'm really excited for the NFC Championship; my Broncos lost a game they should have won, and since I despise both the Ravens and the Patriots, I'm ALL NFC at this point. I was bummed to see Seattle go down like they did, since Atlanta won on a hope and a prayer, but the Falcons seem like a team that should match up well with the Niners. I have to work at DISH this weekend, so I'll miss the games live, but I have my DISH Hopper DVR at home set to record. I've been watching a lot of non-conference games this year, and I love that the Hopper can store up to 2,000 hours of TV. It's perfect for a sports fan, and even with all my recordings I have barely made a dent in the storage space. I think the Falcons/Niners game is going to be great, and hope I don't hear the score before I get home to watch it!

It was a fantastic game between Baltimore/Denver, and SO disappointing! I couldn't believe the way Elway and Fox handled the last few minutes, but Denver definitely had the ability to win that game. I went to my son's basketball game and had the DVR going, and it was all I could do to keep from hearing other parents watching the game on their iPad, or discussing it openly. When I got home, the DISH Hopper had it al l recorded for me. It really was one of the best games the NFL has ever seen, and it makes NO sense trying to knock Peyton. I usually work late at DISH, so I use the DVR a lot, and the DISH Hopper can store up to 2,000 hours! It's perfect for sports fans who like teams outside their market, I can record and save as many as I like, and I don't have to worry about the DVR being full!

Some of these look really cool, and I'll be checking to see which of these come up on my Blockbuster @ Home movie package. I got DISH and BB @ Home earlier this year, and with over 100,000 movies, games and TV shows I am never without something cool, new or classic to watch. A DISH coworker told me that I can stream live, exchange at a BB store or get titles by-mail, and there are never any late fees. It's broken down extremely well by genre, title, time period and more, and makes for a fun, cozy evening at home!
