Either way, both phones have been pretty successful in the past, and whichever phone I get will be more than enough phone for me. Along with both having LTE capabilities, they both have great displays, so streaming TV should be a pleasant experience. I like keeping up with my favorite shows by watching them on my phone during the trip to and from work at DISH, since it takes a while to get there. I like using the DISH Anywhere app which will let me stream my live and recorded shows everywhere I go and LTE will only make it better.
Personally, I don’t mind the plastic that the S3 is made of, so I don’t think I’d mind the S4’s plastic body either. It made the phones lighter and easier to repair. I am more excited for the 1080p display that comes on the S4, which I am sure looks amazing. During the train ride to work at DISH, I like to watch my live and recorded shows on my current phone since it takes a bit of time. I’m able to stream from my DVR wherever I go using the DISH Anywhere app and I think it would be great to have a higher resolution display to view on.
I’m sure that the new Galaxy will be a giant step up from the previous phone. I hope that the 13-megapixel camera and the higher resolution display rumors are true. I’m most excited for the full HD display, since I like streaming my live and recorded shows on my phone during the commute to and from work at DISH. I’ve got the DISH Anywhere app on my current phone, which lets me stream my shows anywhere I go, and I think it’d be nice watching on a full HD display.
On March 14th, I’ll definitely be tuning in to see what new features Samsung puts in their new Galaxy. I’m looking forward to seeing what new things they add to the new Galaxy S IV, like the 13-megapixel camera and a higher resolution display. I’d quite like a full 1080p display on my next phone, seeing as I like to stream live and recorded shows to my phone during the commute to work at DISH. I have the DISH Anywhere app on my phone, which lets me stream my shows anywhere I go, so I think it would work well with a full HD display.
I would definitely choose the HTC One over the Galaxy S3 or the iPhone 5. It has quite a lot to offer, such as a good camera and a beautiful display. I can really only keep up with my favorite shows on the trip to and from work at DISH, so I watch them on my phone a lot. I have the DISH Anywhere app, which lets me stream my live and recorded shows anywhere I go on my phone, and I think it would be great paired with the 1080p display.
I am definitely looking forward to seeing how well the HTC One works. I’m most excited for the 1080p display that it comes with. It would be great for watching movies and shows on. I am a pretty big streamer, and considering I like to watch my shows while I’m headed home from work at DISH, I’d love to use a full HD display. A screen that gorgeous paired with the DISH Anywhere app, which lets me stream my live and recorded shows anywhere I am, should make for a great combination.
I loved the Djesus Uncrossed and Regine skits. They were the ones that had me laughing the hardest. I am glad that I was able to get off of work early at DISH to catch the show on time. I have a DISH Hopper whole-home DVR which works in my favor because I tend to start a show in one room, get distracted easily, then finish in another room. Having the option to start and continue a show in any room is very useful.
I would have to say that my favorite skit from yesterday was the Body Doubles sketch. It was witty and clever, and nice to see JB poke fun at himself. I got out of work at DISH early yesterday, so I caught the show with more than enough time. My roomies watch Game of Thrones, which airs at the same time as SNL, so normally there would be conflict. Thanks to my DISH Hopper whole-home DVR that I got a while ago, we have the ability to watch up to four different programs at the same time. While I’m catching up on SNL in the living room, my roommates watched Game of Thrones in their rooms, so there are no conflicts on who gets the remote anymore.
I really liked this episode of The New Normal. I think my favorite picture of yours is the last one. Justin Bartha looks great in his kid-inspired drag. I was working late at DISH the night it came on, and one of my friends said it was really good. My DISH Hopper used the PrimeTime Anytime feature to automatically record all four major networks during prime time, so it was nice knowing I didn’t have to worry about setting a recording for it.
It’s good to see the Droid line coming back, as you say. I have had a few Droids in the past, but none have been as good as the DNA. I can’t begin to describe how good shows look on the 1080p screen. For example, I use the DISH Remote Access app on my phone so that I can stream live TV through the Sling Adapter that I have connected to my receiver at home. The app is really useful when I can’t be at home to watch my shows, and the gorgeous display only helps. One of my DISH coworkers also bought a DNA and they are in love with it just as much as I am.
I couldn’t agree more. This movie was amazing to me. It was nice that the 3D didn’t look like it was overdone, and it certainly didn’t seem like a gimmick like so many movies before it. In addition to the beautiful graphics, the story was connective and you could almost feel his pain in the movie. I watched it with one of my DISH coworkers and we would recommend seeing it for sure. I can’t wait to see it again soon! I’ve added Life of Pi to my queue on Blockbuster @Home from DISH, since it should be available a month before RedBox. Thanks for the quick review!
His promo was pretty good, but the show was even better. The Swarovski Crystals skit was my favorite of the night. Jamie Foxx works well in comedy, and he definitely brought some of the In Living Color hilarity to SNL. I was working late at DISH last night so I couldn’t see the show live. A while back, I set up my Hopper from DISH to automatically record the show so I can watch it the next morning. It is nice being able to have the entire season on my DVR with more than enough recording space left for the rest of my favorite shows. Jamie Foxx did great on the show, but I’m looking forward to seeing Martin Short host!
The Madea Special Ops skit was one of my favorites of the night. It’s hilarious how good he is at impersonating Tyler Perry and Madea.
His promo was pretty good. The show was even better. I loved all of the skits that he performed on. I can’t say I have a favorite, as they were all funny to me. I was working late at DISH last night. A while back, I set up my Hopper from DISH to automatically record the show so I can watch it the next morning. It is nice being able to have the entire season on my DVR with more than enough recording space left for the rest of my favorite shows. I can honestly say that the display on the Droid DNA is the best I’ve ever seen. I have a DNA, and I can’t begin to explain how good shows look on it. I like using the DISH Remote Access app, which lets me stream live TV through the Sling Adapter I have connected to my receiver. The app is useful when I can’t be home to watch my shows since it works anywhere. One of my DISH coworkers also has a Droid DNA, and we can both agree that it is the best phone to watch TV on.
