@RebeccaTodd @Marketing Gal I am a single mom of three, I work 2 jobs and I just finished my degree, I hear you 100%!! I know many people who over book their day and just get upset when they drop the ball in their juggling act. I love the fact you see it and just pick the ball back up and push forward !! Much respect to you for putting yourself out there =)

You are just spreading yourself SO thin, its amazing you only blew that one ! Its gut wrenching when you know you have messed up, but you are right when you said you should have made a quick call. It's wonderful how understand people can be if you just keep the line of communication going. The best part is, you learned from your experience and shared it with others.

I have seen the Prancersize lady doing her "thing" on some of my social networks. I am with you, she scares me a little, but she is out there doing her thing. Most people aren't and I guess I have to tip my hat to her... from a very safe distance !! ;)

I am just about to start kicking out some sales and this was great to read. I am sure I can use all the help I can get! I am an amazing sales women, but most of my customers come in NEEDING a product I am selling. This will be the first time I am reaching out to those that may not be sure what they need.

I loved the Frito Lays promotion. It really drew in a lot of feedback and great ideas they can use further down the road. You are right, you need to listen to the customer and be plugged into what they think and how the feel about your product!

Great idea, especially if you work in a creative industry. The more you and your co-workers share the more eyes you have on your company. Keep it interesting and draw them in =)

No doubt! I work one job from home and in time, it may be the only job I need. However, I love the interaction I get from my second job. To be able to talk, laugh and see it all in "real time" is priceless to me. I am also the mother of 3 and I make sure my kids get OUT and are involved in activities that are not in front of a computer screen.

I think most companies have a target audience they are looking to "shake their feathers" at and get noticed. However, you should always be reevaluating who may and may not need, used or love what you have to offer. If you dont take the time to reach out to others, you may be shooting yourself in the foot.

Great post. As someone who work to jobs, one from home and one in a business, I get a good view of both worlds. I love working from home, but I find it would be helpful  to have a person in the next room to bounce ideas off of. Sending out an email, and not hearing back right away can lull my creative juices.

I am seeing a ton of these come through too. I wasnt sure what it was and I havent had time to look into it yet. Ill check it out tonight. I guess its kinda neat if you are going somewhere or getting ready to buy something, you can see who you know that has been there and done that and ask their opinion. Might get some good feedback...

Only 20%? I would have tagged that as 50%! Seriously, loved the cheese analogy. I find if I break tasks up, none prove to be all that difficult, and I am left wondering why I put it off so long. Thanks for sharing your list.
