I think the iPad should just be the end all be all for a Christmas gift. Many kids would be disappointed with Tegra 3 performance ;)
This is such a waste of money! You can get a USB 3.0 thumb drives for less that have the same capacity as this drive. Anyone who is still buying USB 2.0 drives really needs to reconsider their decisions. USB 3.0 will be the standard for quite a while, and even if these users don't have systems that support the technology, they inevitably will at some point. When they do, they'll have a drive that works with it! Not to mention USB 3 drives work just fine in USB 2.0 ports, it makes absolutely no sense to even recommend this archaic technology.
