Former Navy SEAL and "American Sniper" author Chris Kyle was fatally shot along with another man Saturday on a Texas gun range, a sheriff told local newspapers.
Erath County Sheriff Tommy Bryant said Kyle, 38, and a second man were found dead at Rough Creek Lodge's shooting range west of Glen Rose, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and Stephenville Empire-Tribune. Glen Rose is about 50 miles southwest of Fort Worth.
Investigators did not immediately release the name of the second victim, according to the newspapers.
Witnesses told sheriff's investigators that a gunman opened fire on the men around 3:30 p.m. Saturday, then fled in a pickup truck belonging to one of the victims, according to the Star-Telegram. The newspapers said a 25-year-old man was later taken into custody in Lancaster, southeast of Dallas, and that charges were expected.
Lancaster police did not immediately return calls for comment.
The motive for the shooting was unclear.
We are not going to lose this battle John. In the very near future there will be a major upheavel. Obama and his ilk will be defeted as God Intends. This is a battle that has been fought and won before. I have seen the end of Obama and a return to the America we know and love. The Light will never be quenched by the darkness, nor can the darkness run and hide from the light. As a Minister I completely agree with you that a failure to speak out from the pulpit, is the same as condoning evil in our world. The PC state of our Union needs to be shaken up to it's core and the Word of God welcomed back in to the lives of the people. Often people feel a sense of being beaten up, made to feel powerless, by the people including many ministers, who advance the ideas that the homosexual agenda and irresponsible behaviors are the new norm. God is unchaning as is his message, we need to remind our parishoners of this reality.

@glass It is awesome that the entire State of Utah and many many more Sheriffs and Police Chiefs in the States are refusing to follow unlawful orders and will fight along side the patriots. As a Veteran I have no issue defending my country, God is on Our Side.
This story is tragic in that the mother and children died. However to blame the entire Church for the stupid decisions or arguments of the few is simply EVIL. It is propaganda and EVIL.
