@GalenKahlylMcAlister @ZoZinette @hthrnnclrk Thank you for posting. That baby does look good forward facing. I'll have to try one on an older baby. and see if it still works but in that video it really looks good. It's interesting that the PAX baby lady is also a bit hesitant about recommending the forward facing carry for long periods though. Sincere thanks for the video.

@GalenKahlylMcAlister @hthrnnclrk Sorry, but i doubt this very much. The wide base of the Beco Gemini just like a Manduca or other wide base pouch works very well on "chest to chest" carried babies but i do not see how you can support the thighs of a front facing child. Please post a video or pictures showing this. My aim in not to discredit your preferred product but to ensure that baby wearing is done as safe as possible.
@ZenMommy I love that video where you use a sling and a baby in a lotus sitting position. I think your baby looks very well supported. I wonder how long you can carry a baby like that. I think a lot of parents who carry their babies facing out do it with older children and they may be more difficult to carry that way in a sling both in terms of fabric constraints (longer limbs) as well as physical constraints (not being able to wriggle). I've tried the lotus hold with a woven wrap around carrier with my then 10/11 months old baby and completely failed. How long did you manage to do this with your little one in a sling? Do you have any tips for mammas with older babies? BTW, Bobamommy; thanks for the post!
