Cloud offers with enticing free starter offers are coming in from all directions. There must be guidelines for choosing which part of the cloud to hang out in. I'm thinking not having all your eggs in one basket is a good safety measure. Other than indexing challenge is there any drawback to this approach ? If I use multiple servers as my virtual storage and one crashes or is otherwise compromised, I have a degree of protection. Is this prudent or am I opening myself up to a bigger can of worms ?
