@shapentra I think is a different situation. Bynum has a history of cronic knee problems and Noel has not. They need to get the 1st pick first and then will find out 6/27/13.
Draft Noel with first pick, bring him slowly & sit him for the year. Repeat, suck again next year and have top five pick in 2014. Draft one of the studs in next year draft.
I think that was Hennigan's idea all along.
He is as good as gone.
Great article Mr. Lund. Maurice is my favorite player with the Magic. He has been impressive the last couple of months.
He should be ready for a breakout season next year, if he works hard this off season.
Sell high, sell low..just sell, Big Baby has no future in Orlando.
Hi Eddy,
Under Harkless comment you state "Harris", I'm guessing you meant Moe's. On the offense side Harris, KOQ and Harkless played well, so I'm surprised that you gave Harkless a C+. I think he deserved a B.
The defensive side of the ball was another story. Moe seemed tentative and was killed on a lot of switches by Henderson and Kemba. I don't like that defensive strategy by the Magic at all, they get abused on those switches most of the times. It remind me ATL under the Woodson era.
This game was a weird one to watch.
The Magic starting five looked one step too slow in defense, understandable in a back to back game. On offense, the feed Andrew in the post play, although effective most of the times, was ugly, with him being stripped a few times and in others he was unable to capitalize against lesser players due to lack of strength.
Harkless got a few kudos from the Knicks announcer and color commentator. He is coming along very nicely.
And to think that there was a certain Orlando Magic blogger that thought he was garbage or on his own words "not a very good basketball player"
What, no Moe's grading for the second game in a row? He had a pretty efficient game, 5-7 FG and 1-2 3pt and a poster dunk.
You are missing one very important point. Luc was 22 years old when he was drafted as a senior from UCLA. Moe's a 19 year old rookie with only one year of college, and no training camp or pre-season seasoning under his belt.
I think Maurrice will be much closer to Gerald Wallace type of player than Luc by a mile in a few years.
