There are "more legal ways to resist" extra-constitutional Federal excursion outside its enumerated powers? I think this is just one illustration that he doesn't understand that the States involved in nullifying are on the high ground; taking their oaths to protect and defend the constitution serious, instead of as just some mere formality that can be brushed aside as soon as it leaves their lips. The Constitution is, after all, only a piece of paper - it can't enforce itself or keep the Federal Government limited on its own.
