"I have heard the echoes of the future and agreed to go meet them and maybe that is why I am still typing. Maybe that is why I keep writing and rewriting this particular post." ... interesting how the future calls to all of us, but is so seldom heard or if heard the message is ignored. There are times when I feel a tug as if strands of my own story have some how intertwined with realities that have yet to be seen. There are times that I too stand and agree to meet with and live in this new future and there are times sadly that I choose the comfort and safety of the "known".

Enjoyed the visit,

Love the post and would like to be a part of this community. Having just had a slightly uncomfortable kick in the ass called "reorganization" my job as VP Ops for a health care company has flown away and left me free to chase a dream.

Danny,

Love this line: "if you have some extra balls to go around, feel free to share with those that need a little help." Ball sharing. Humm, is there an android app for that? ... If so, I guess they would be "false balls", or maybe "virtual balls". Not sure, I'm a little new to all this...

Being a pleaser, peace keeper type for so many years is like standing in ice cold water.... shrinkedge happens. I believe it's time to jump in the hot tub this thanksgiving season, grow some, and shake up my world a bit.

Thanks for the motivation.

I've spent most of my 30+ adult years very involved in face to face networking. The past month or so I've been testing the social networking waters so to speak. I've been reading through these threads and have to share how exciting it is to see "real" community life taking place. I have friends and business associates that roll their eyes everytime I mention "online community". Like you can really develope community by tweeting. What Chris Brogan, Jennifer Fong and Danny Brown have demonstrated is true community. Iron sharpens iron... I look forward to being sharpened. Blessings to you all!
