@BobE @gmhunt4 Bob, that's not the way arguments are won on this site. Pointing out facts and supporting your opinions just won't get it, and quite frankly, those tactics are just unfair to the readers. You need valid debating points like, "Obummer is a Muslim, Communist , athiest, Kenyan socialist." Also, don't bore us with details supporting those obvious facts.
Isn't the premise of this essay flawed? The ammo manufactures can take the taxpayer money for their product, and then just sell more to the general public when they manufacture more. A plan by Obama to buy ammo so others can't get it may work in the short run, but this plan would be doomed to failure over time. Ammunition manufactures would love this idea, though.
Well, this article proves it. Obama is just like Hitler.

@snidely1 The reply to your sensible observation will be that citizens need to be armed to defeat a tyranical government if need be. This argument ignores the fact that the "government" has an army, an airforce, drones, and Marines. What do these gun fans have in their garages to counter this? Do these posters belong to a "well regulated militia" that could take on the government? I'm hoping my old double barrel will meet my needs.
I've heard these "magic carburator" stories for many years. If they were true, why haven't the Japanese, Koreans, or other car makers who are not partners with oil companies installed them on their products?
@VeteransAgainstMatco Well said and I agree, but you made a little mistake that's funny. Who wants to take away our rights to "bare arms?" Perhaps some of us older citizens should have that right taken away.

Thanks for writing this article. Most right wing sites say people who voted for Obama are either stupid (dumbocrats) or have evil motives (free stuff). Most left wing sites say Romney voters are either dumb (dupes of the Koch brothers) or have evil motives (for plutocrats or racists). It's nice to see a someone acknowledge that someone may disagree with you politically and still be a nice person.
