Agreed in THEORY.. My baby has been straining to face forward from the time he was about 9-10 weeks old: it's who he is - he wants to be in the world. We practice Continuum, and a facing forward carry can and does make all the difference to both mine and my son's enjoyment of the day, EVERY day, for at least an hour or so. He grizzles if he can't see 'out' for at least some of the day, especially if we're out and about. It has made for a most smiley and sociable bub. Most forward facing carriers make for terrible alignment, agreed. Beco Gemini is a very great design because it allows for an easy and quick adjustment to baby's direction. Forward facing carries aren't appropriate in stretchy wraps either, to my mind.
