Yes! Time to get Leviathans into YA! I agree with you on Supernatural.  I was really disappointed on their take of Leviathans.

But something I would love to see in YA are some "old-school" monsters.  Less vampires and werewolves (can't believe I'm saying that when I want my vampire WiP published) and more legendary monsters from Jewish, Babylonian etc.  There's lots of inspiration there!
