Let's be honest. The media is the problem. You won't leave the man alone. If there's a circus it's because you, THE MEDIA,  created it. You behave like a group of adolescent teenagers the way your crowd around him.  Part of Tebow's problem is that has been willing to discuss just about anything when asked: his faith in god, whether he's had pre-marital sex, his overseas missionary work, his ad campaign with Jockey. You have an agenda. Tim Tebow in briefs? Big deal! Tebow's take on doing the ads is straightforward - everyone wears underwear.  He's not a complicated guy. Accept it and stop putting so much focus on every step he takes.  Tebow just may be that diamond in the rough. Belichick sees possibilities and we'll all find out if he was right. Tebow's been given a second chance and I believe he'll make the most of it. Will he ever meet the media's inflated expectations? Who cares? That's not his problem! What Bill Belichick thinks is all that matters.

Don't be so sure the name will be changed.  I'm so sick of this b .s. with hyper sensitivity toward names because SOME people feel the need to twist something to fit their agenda. I can't see how the name could be negative. It is what it is.  The name is not a slur. It celebrates the team's heritage. Redskin referred not to the natural skin color  but to their use of vermilion face paint and body paint.  It is what it is. Redskin, blackskin, whiteskin, yellowskin, get over it. It's a beautiful thing.  Leave it alone.

Reality shows ARE NOT REAL. Anyone who thinks anything shown on t.v. is real doesn't have a clue on how things work. What's real is behind closed doors and never seen by the public.

When Tony Allen played for the Celts he had a similar problem with threats being made toward him whenever the team returned to his hometown to play. You can never take it lightly but at the same time the odds are greater that it's just some yahoo trying to get into Parker's head.

@CashMc Funny you should mention the subject's ability to spell.  Does anyone bother proofreading material before putting it out for public consumption?  This article has two obvious misspellings. "In that veign good luck."  ( vein )  And   ".......... I may just be a jadded sports writer....." (jaded)  The term Dumbing down describes the deliberate diminishment of the intellectual level of education,  literature and cinema, and of news and culture.

@callmetbone   Mysogynist much?!! Men don't get accused of fcking their way up the ladder do they? Good looking women get accused of being whores by people who are unfulfilled with their own lives and relationships. Your cheap shot comment toward Erin Andrews says more about you than you realize. Get some counseling. You have serious issues.

Oh for godsakes why must the media behave like jackals circling around the carcass? Are there any real journalists left in this world whose mission is to get a post game interview that doesn't consist of rubbing salt in the open wound? No wonder athletes hate the media so much.

The comment "Pitino hilariously ducked for cover as if he was being shot at" is monumentally outrageous to say. With shootings at Virginia Tech, the movie theater in Aurora, Colorado, Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut to mention just a few from a long list of shootings it is a sad reality we all carry in the back of our minds sometimes without realizing it until a sudden loud noise occurs and you react as Pitino did. It's NOT the least bit funny let alone hilarious! You are clueless.

Oh for godsake leave the guy alone. Being a male doesn't mean you automatically jump in the way of a ball.  You're body reacts, it's a reflex reaction. It just happens. Nobody is criticizing the girl right? That would be considered unfair because she's just a GIRL. But he's a guy so he should have protected her right? Double standards are alive and well.

Didn't you know that Lebron James NEVER FOULS?! Just ask him. Every call made against him, and there are far too few that he gets called for, he complains. The special treatment he gets from NBA officials isn't enough. He gets the award for BIGGEST WHINEBAG IN THE NBA.

I don't condone biting anyone but if someone's hand is across my mouth and nose am I having a problem breathing? Possibly. I would bite if that was my only way to get that hand removed. If you don't want to get bitten don't put your hand on another player's face. It's that simple

Phil Simms talks endlessly!! Every play gone wrong is another opportunity for him to let the listeners know what he would have done, implying somehow he knows more than the coaches and players on the field. The man never stops talking. A rare occurrence (blackout) during the Superbowl delivered a gift to all viewers who tuned in to watch the game.......SILENCE. It was wonderful. Please hire someone like Boomer to do the Superbowl. The man is a rare breed. He knows his football and he doesn't play the kiss ass game that commentators are known for. He'd be a breath of fresh air.

Anyone who has ever performed in a bodybuilding competition recognizes what went wrong with this picture. Applying color to the skin helps enhance the appearance of muscle and vascularity  which competitors work so hard to attain. The application process of creams or sprays to darken the skin require practice and sometimes the outcome is disasterous. Hopefully when it's done wrong it's not on the day of a competition. This bodybuilder looks as though he did not have the help needed to fix the overapplication to his face and neck. He looks like the joker from Batman. Oh well. We all make mistakes so cut him a break. It's called being human.

Charles Barkley is a breath of fresh air in a business with people who have "on air" personalities. Charles is Charles.  If he thinks it he speaks it.  The truth isn't always pretty but that doesn't make it any less true. What Barkley pointed out is something we all know to be true. Unattractive women don't make it in his business. It's not fair but it is what it is.
