Hey Paul, thanks for the post. I know I'm late to the party here, but just found it through a link posted in a LinkedIn group. I've been blogging for than 7 years now and I believe creating and being a part of communities is more important than ever. There's so much content being created these days, it can be overwhelming. Having a tribe that creates and curates content you can trust is helpful, and having a tribe of people who know and trust you and as a result will engage with and share your content is essential.

Hey Justin, saw this post in the CLA LinkedIn group. I agree that finding the right web developer for an organization's new website is a huge decision, and unfortunately most people don't know how to screen developers and make the right decision. That's why we created this video/blog post: 6 Questions to Ask Before Hiring a Web Developer

Hey Brittany, hello from a not too far away fellow Floridian. Great post! Thanks for the idea! I wasn't aware targeting was possible for FB pages. A follow up question, you wrote...
>>the added benefit of posting targeted Facebook updates is that since this post is only going out to 17 people, it is much more likely that they will see that message.
Are you saying that targeted FB posts have a higher EdgeRank than untargetted? If so, what is this based on? Your example/case study you posted here is compelling enough for me to want to give it a try, but I was just curious if there has been any other research or articles written about this.

Great stuff Greg and Dom! Love to see stories about how Empire Avenue is being used to advance good causes. I blogged about the article to spread the word, and I'm also using that post as a way to start a conversation about how do we evaluate the effectiveness of awareness campaigns like this?

@gadgetgreg Hey Greg, I hope so, but if you click the link in my last comment, read the post & follow the links to previous articles in which I've written about Empire Avenue's "pain points"and recommendations to address them, you'll see the EAv team has been silent on them.

@david4ASEA Do you personal stories or other examples of it working that you can share?
Excellent article. It's great to hear about the real world results some people & companies are having with EAv. I still believe in Empire Avenue's potential, but I also believe it has some serious issues that limit its effectiveness for many organizations. I blogged more about that here - http://ow.ly/fa6qX
