Which girl was it? The one that got leg dropped (the left) or drop kicked (the right)? I don't think it'll be long until the second girl comes forward. I kind of feel bad for him although it was kind of funny that he tried to use a meet-and-greet with Lil Wayne as a way of preventing a lawsuit. I wonder how that went..."hey, this is the girl I landed on in my performance"

I actually thought Shakira was on the right track. I think she's caught on to the fact that Sasha sounds nearly identical to Deborah Cox. I was half expecting "Nobody's Supposed to Be Here". This song was a bit too one dimensional for Sasha though. Also, she needs to work with Sasha's vibrato, so her voice can navigate more gracefully in pop tracks. This was okay though. Hope she makes it through.
I hated at the beginning and loved it by the end - it was emotional. I love her phrasing and ad-libs .Glad she's taking risks.
This was cool. I can't believe Adam forgot about Amanda Brown though, when he said no one's ever done an Adele song justice :S
Epic comeback by Rihanna!
That was the most heartbreaking elimination in the history of reality singing competitions. Liam had the best voice in the competition and was easily the most likeable contestant. I could barely keep it together while watching. The guy's so sweet; he didn't deserve to be thrown under the bus. I knew something would go wrong when he chose Will over Jessie J.
Given the exposure over this elimination, I think he should audition for Season 3 since he'd obviously be catapulted into the finals. Or he could move to America...Christina Aguilera's first win?
@Mikhail XO @elementalman Agreed. I never thought Melinda would ever be actually considered, but it was a fun thought haha. I do think my original team of Adam Lambert, Fantasia, Jordin Sparks and Chris Daughtry would be a strong panel. What are your fantasy picks?
I really don't think this is a good career move for her... I love the idea of Melinda Doolittle though, as some people have suggested.
I wouldn't mind this! I really wasn't looking forward to Harry Connick Jr. Hmm, I think Kelly, Carrie and JHud would be taking too big a risk in taking the judging role. I mean, Mariah Carey has some work ahead of her to undo the lip-syncing, mumbling, Downton Abbey/Pitbull thing she had going on (Dahling).
Adam Lambert, Fantasia, Jordin Sparks and/or Chris Daughtry. I think that's a solid combination of smart, sassy, sexy and suave. I'm going to give an early dismissal to the idea of Katherine McPhee only because she has the personality of a recycling bin.

Hmm, okay. Well congratulations to the Carter family. My sincerest condolences to her career; hopefully she can salvage something. I'm sure Pepsi is THRILLED! She'll have to release that new album soon...or maybe we'll just hear snippets of her album through commercials/movie trailers for the next year. In retrospect, maybe "Bow Down" was meant for her ob/gyn.
If it's a girl, I'm thinking Blue Sky, Red Apple, Magenta Rose, Orange (pronounced like Solange) or Purple Rain. Kanye for a boy.
And once again, another talent is ruined by Jimmy Iovine and Interscope. You really have to wonder who works at these recording/management companies. Is it really rocket science to come up with a decent cover? Or a decent title for that matter? That cover was the product of 2 minutes with a DSLR camera, 2 minutes in Lightroom and 30 seconds on Photoshop. You'd think they'd invest in the winner's album, since a successful winner could have rationalized a bad season. Hopefully, Candice will be able to pull what she can out of the songs they'll give her.
The song could very well outsell the winner's single...should be interesting.
Despite a horrific season, I really love both girls. I'm glad this season could end on a high note with two exceptional contestants. I can't wait to see what they both come out with. I still think Candice will win, but I thought Kree won the night (her single was much better). This is one season where I'll be happy with either outcome (which is a nice feeling).
I thought this was cool. Zendaya obviously has a lot of talent and potential when it comes to hip hop, but I think some people may have been expecting an ABDC standard, when that's not really realistic or fair (since Val was way out of his element compared to the other pros). This more fluid, lyrical style of hip hop is always a bit underwhelming as well and its definitely underestimated in terms of the difficulty level/amount of energy required to perform it.
