@MJOKC @fieldy A problem Brooks is refusing to fix!!!

Starters always getting into a deficit is a systematic problem that need to get solved. It's just a too big a hole to dig out of every time. Remember in the finals when the starters were digging a big hole every game. Brooks was too stubborn or dumb to make any adjustments and it cost us dearly.

@Zach99 Knowing Scott Brooks, ALL season long and all the way into the playoffs.
21 hours, 14 minutes ago on Thunder vs. Kings: Pregame Primer
Lamb, Adams making immediate impact. Tell me why Brooks is insisting on Perk and Sef and Fish again?
21 hours, 18 minutes ago on Thunder vs. Kings: Pregame Primer
@AIaska You sure? This is Scott Brooks we're talking about here. I'm sure Perk will come in at the most inopportune moment in the game.

@WestCrook That's Scott Brooks for ya...retarded as ever...

I've gotta think that deep inside KD and Russ are both sick of Perk just messing up even the simplest of the plays...

Perk shooting jumpers makes me wanna just scream and cry....
Scott Brooks's refusal to play Lamb and PJ3 in the second half is just perplexing. Again, Scott Brooks is the weak link.
2 weeks, 5 days ago on Thunder vs. Warriors: Pregame Primer
Any time something unexpected happens during a game, Scott Brooks just totally goes into the tank. Just completely becomes a deer in headlights. The lineups he trotted out in the second half was completely indefensible. Why wasn't Perry Jones out there at all?

Why the hell isn't Perry Jones playing more?
@mattchant Agree 1000%.

How the hell is Perk a C- when he is the same as last year? What the hell Royce? He is an automatic F player if he is the same as last year. Also, no matter how well Adams plays, I have no doubt that Scott Brooks will keep on starting Perk and mess this up really badly.
People can crush or defend the trade till they are blue in the face but we won't know the true ramifications until much further down the line, when KD and Russ are close to the end of their careers. If they win multiple titles, this is just a footnote. If they don't win titles or KD and Russ end up going somewhere else (or both), then this is the greatest blunder ever for the franchise and the ultimate 'What if?' moment.

I'm sorry but having heard the interview, I just can't take this seriously. I'm not sure why this is news. This sounds/looks so much like a ploy for the next Gatorade commercial. I'll be really surprised if this wasn't the groundswork for the next advertising campaign.

@Jooseppi @fieldy I see your point too, but In terms of catching the ball cleanly while rolling, he CANNOT be any worse than Perk. Right now Perk is a guaranteed turnover. It's like he's got oil on his hands. Also, he cannot be worse than Perk at finishing once he catches it. With Perk, it's like we're doing pick and roll without the remote possibility of a roll. It must make it so much easier for the defense to adjust to in a playoff series.

@Jax Raging Bile Duct @propsizzle Even if the ball is passed to Perk when he is open, the chances are he'll mishandle the pass and lose it out of bounds or turn it over. It is so easy for Perk's defenders to just completely ignore Perk and free lance on defense and help out. It just puts more burden on the other players. Plus the fact that he'll screw things up even when you give him the ball when he is open.
Zach Lowe's point about Brooks' love for Perkins, and Perkins being useless offensively on the floor, and thus maybe stunting Ibaka's offensive growth seems like a real concern. Although, at this point, anything related to Brooks and Perkins is a concern for this team.
This thought of considering Durant's final two seasons as the real window is just completely stupid. There is absolutely no guarantee the window is actually going to be open or even there when that time comes around. Once we reached the finals, the window is open NOW. Just banking on the real window being few years down the line is stupid. I mean, we saw the prime example of how things could suddenly go wrong just this past season. Knock on wood, but another freak injury to Russ or Kevin could completely derail the season and close the window for good. Even after having seen what happened this past postseason, if they think waiting for their time in a few years is a good idea, I think they need to get their head examined. These opportunities in the NBA are rare. You gotta take advantage of it while you can.

The only way this story ever goes away is if KD and Russ win multiple championships. Otherwise, there will always be a 'what if?' hanging around this team...
