@leahtn I live in the Bronx. Even with clear roads and electricity, there's no gas because of foolish anti-gouging laws. Keeping the prices artificially low has only resulted in mass shortages, long lines, and a black market for gas. Great! We pay low prices, but there's nothing available! The situation is in fact far worse because gas stations cannot raise their prices and hence, scarce resources are not efficiently utilized. Now people such as myself have cars with empty tanks stranded on the side of the road and people in Long Island, Queens, and Staten Island unable to buy gas because people waiting in lines for 6 hours fill their tanks to the brim and hoard gas because its cheap, courtesy of our stupid government.
