I like Hinrich and was rooting for the Bulls but I'm glad he missed  that because that was a terrible foul call.

@DanielLawler @OKC035  Yeah I had trouble picking who I wanted to win this series I was going to pick either one of them to beat the Pacers

@Lost Ones  I should have added Battier to that list, he covered KD more than Lebron in that series and he did it also.

@Westbrookinit3 @Lost Ones  He's not the only one who has done that to KD over the course of a playoff series. Francisco Garcia, Shawn Marion, Stephen Jackson a couple years ago, etc...

@DanielLawler @DoomsDay @Bryson @Oboy  The reason the offense felt bad is because the game was played at an incredibly slow pace. Per possession we were efficient offensively. Another huge part of the good offense was that we didn't turn the ball many times, and grabbed a decent amount of offensive rebounds. That makes up for the average shooting numbers

Memphis has done a good job of bringing another guy to Ibaka in the pick and roll. They are really ignoring Thabo and perk.

ZBo was pretty good last night. Also Gasol hasn't shot well but has basically ran their offense from the high post.

Edit: stupid auto correct on my phone changed zbo and Gasol to zoo and gasoline

We scored 113.8 points per 100 possessions. It is simply a fact. We had an excellent offensive game against an excellent defensive team.

I'd bet we don't score as efficiently as we did last night for the rest of the series

They had a great game on offense. For how slow the pace of the game was 99 is a ton of points

17 hours ago on What is Tony Allen doing on Kevin Durant?

Because there is a decent chance we don't score as efficiently as we did last night for the rest of the series. Defense will have to be significantly better for us to win.

Copying and pasting this from the last thread

Just to reiterate, because for some reason people keep talking about offense.... we lost the game on defense. Going by BR the Grizzlies scores 119.8 points per 100 last night. They only scored better than that 9 times all season! We only allowed more than that 8 times all season! For a below average offense to be able to run the clock 20+ seconds every possession and score as efficiently as they did without getting to the line a ton and with us not turning it over a lot, is unbelievable.Edit (in 5 minutes)

@35 4 Finals MVP  A Rondo trade would be absolutely terrible for the Thunder. Anyone who thinks the Thunder should do that really doesn't know basketball. If we were going to trade Westbrook for a pg it would have to be Curry/CP3 and since neither of those trades would happen it doesn't really matter. Otherwise only other trade for one guy that would be possible and relatively fair would be a Love trade.

@d21  @DJ_Yardman  The fact the Memphis was able to run the clock down 20+ seconds every possession and still get good shots and score at a great rate is absolutely embarrassing for us.

@Sustainable Parameters  Udrih didn't play in the late 4th/OT. Beno was killing Reggie and Fisher. Conley was killing Russ until we switched Thabo onto him

@Hand down man down @Legendary_Dork @OKC035  Yep Westbrook was getting torched in the pick and roll. I've said it a bunch of times but I don't understand why Thabo wasn't on him from the beginning. He took him out of the game in the 4th quarter

We didn't lose the game on offense tonight. We lost on defense. The Grizzlies played at an incredibly slow pace and were able to score time and time again late in the shot clock. 117.4 defensive rating tonight which is absolutely terrible against a Grizzlies offense.

@Spike Bonze @OKC035 @tygablood  In an OT game its not an insane amount of shots, and its hard when we have no offensive system and Westbrook is stuck waiting for Durant to try and get open for Tony Allen and the 3 other guys on the floor can't even dribble the ball.

I said Thabo should be on Conley before the game, and I don't understand why it took us until the 4th quarter to make the switch. Russ was getting killed on their pick and rolls, and even if he was doing well why have him waste energy covering Conley. Why even start Thabo if you aren't going to put him on their best perimeter player? Makes zero sense to me. Thabo was great on Conley in the 4th, completely took him out of the game I really really hope we start him on Conley next game.

@d21  @OKC035  He was awful. Caron was a no show. Nick was bad. Fish had a decent stretch but overall the entire bench basically got outplayed by Beno Udrih. Hard to win a game when that happens
