Anyone know the chances of Charter getting SECN? We're getting close and I'll have to switch to U-Verse if they don't get with the program.

Agree the paper should not give in to a coach. It is spineless, as Andy said, to remove him from covering USC AND replacing him with a buddy of the coach. What is missing from the numerous articles written this week is what started the rift between Spurrier and Morris. I'm assuming Morris did something wrong due to the lack of information in the articles. It's typical of the media to circle the wagons when one of their own is under attack, even when they did something wrong.

"Soo... Asante Samuel is all for accepting an openly gay teammate in the locker room as long as the NFL or the Falcons gives him some kind of "gay teammate" bonus? Something tells me that doesn't classify as true "progress.'"
That's not what he said, though. He said to pay him so he can advise on how to deal with it...not to pay him if a teammate comes out of the closet.

@myoder84 True...I should have been clearer...I don't fault Jay for calling them out. My point is the broader picture of the general media and their obsession with "breaking" a story. Some stories I understand, such as if a high-ranking gubment official gets caught with his pants down.

Is there some type of "Breaking" trophy I don't know about? Who gives a flyin' flip of who got it first. It's like siblings arguing over calling the front seat. "No, I called it first." "No, I did!" "Did not!" "Did to" "Mommmmm! But he sat in the front last time!"
Bunch o' babies. Get over yourselves for once.
Verne is awful tonight. 1) LSU receiver lines up just outside hashmark, catches ball at the hashmark and Verne calls it a "crossing pattern". 2) Called a blitz when only the 4 down linemen were pass rushing.
