Most of limo companies, including ours, already charge customers by either 1. Distance or 2. Time spent in a vehicle. Even when we come up with a new flat point-to-point rate, distance and time are the two most important factors to come up with a proper competitive rate. We have algorithms in our spreadsheets that allow our agents to come up a custom rate. I don't see why an i-pod would be a much different tool rather then a PC. The law is the law. Whether we like it or not, we all have to obey it.
