@owenthomas Oh, hey, funny seeing you here. The one guy who consistently wrote unsubstantiated stories about how I was useless at Google and never accomplished anything and how I exaggerated my roles. Of course you never had any facts to point to. Just loved to publish hater clickbait.
Then today, suddenly, a few anonymous handles pop up on Pando articles alleging the same unsubstantiated stuff. Weird coincidence. Any ideas how that might be happening and who might be behind it? Anyway, have a nice day.
@RZ28 Hey there, see my reply above. I 100% agree with you that I self-promote. But what I don't do is try to take credit for the success of any of my investments. That was what we were discussing.
@brandwinn I agree with you. I self-promote. But that wasn't really my premise. As Erin notes in the comments below, my point was that VCs spend too much time trying to take credit for the success of their investments. And it is the specific kind of self-promotion that bothers me and feels unhealthy for the market.
