@simon44 Uber did the same in NYC, and got tossed form there as well.All cities regulate public vehicles. Most large cities recognize a difference between taxis and black cars/limos. Uber's business model is to ignore the local code and run limousines as taxi-cabs.There is no change to the section that Uber wants you to complain about, please read that section, it's been code for 40 years, and it states that there is a difference between PPV (livery vehicles) and taxicabs. It refers Code 9-114 which regulates PPVs. Specifically Uber regularly breaks
9-114-060 Unlawful to operate a public passenger vehicle with meter.
It is unlawful for any person to operate or drive a public passenger vehicle equipped with a meter which registers a charge of any kind.

Why do you keep insisting there are changes? Really, you are asking people to call their aldermen to request a section of Chicago code that is not changing, to be stricken. And that section of code is to maintain PPVs and taxicabs being separate: but it seems that the real problem you are having has to do with the fact that you regularly break Chicago Municipal Code--
