@SigmundI think the fact that Jackson plays more with KD is a big reason for Jackons assist total being slightly lower and KDs increase in assts. Do I think Jackson is a great PG? no, of course not. But, at half the salary and a huge upside in talent and age I think Jackson is our back up PG to stay. Better to get him the minutes and experience now

@Sigmund Then why did Brooks bench him?
@OkcBaby So you think Serge had a good game? or even an avg game?
@OkcBaby A block might take away points, and it might not...How many times have we seen a blocked shot recovered by an opponent and put back for an easy score because there was no one to box him out? Blocks are fun to watch, and can get a team going, but rebounding can do the same. Regardless of the number of blocks, 1 rebound and 4 pts out of your starting PF is a bad game.
I think its a very big stretch to think that Maynor or Jackson were primarily responsible for either. The Thunder played much better opponents and played on the road significantly more with Jackson as the back up. Maynor was playing poorly, especially shooting the ball, that is why Jackson got bumped up in the first place. Maynor played his way out of the backup PG...
@Sigmund @ILikePancakes @OkcBaby Maynor's assists avg has dropped every season since he was a rookie. His shooting % is awful and he is to be paid 3.5m next season if they pick up the option on him.
@OkcBaby Yes, he was 1 of 4 shooting with 1 asst. and 2 tos...but he did have 6 boards, he got to the free throw line, and the team was +1 with him on the floor...Serge's 1 rebound, and 4 points in 26 minutes is what sticks out to me. I would trade those blocks for rebounds any day. A blocked shot doesnt mean the posession is over...a rebound does.
So as of right now, the Toronto pick looks safe this season, and the Dallas pick is a 50/50 to stay protected...That leaves the Thunder's 1st round pick (27-30) and the Bobcats 2nd round pick. If the Dallas pick is not protected, that would give the Thunder 3 draft picks from positions 21 to 32, as well as a lottery pick from Toronto. When you couple that with Lamb, Liggins, and PJ III, It begs the question, If we dont trade anyone, how do we keep everyone? And If you do trade, Who is most likely to go?

The press this is receiving is just ridiculous. Competition and apathy don't mix. My only immediate concern with Westbrook is his field goal %...Its his lowest average since his rookie season. Shot selection has something to do with it, but considering he has a career high in apg, the shots just need to start dropping...and one other thing...Why so much dislike for Reggie Jackson? Am i the only one that thinks his play this season has remarkably improved?
Hickson's larry bird option will keep him off non-contenders, but he is on a one year contract, so he will be looking for a payday. The thunder have assets to give...I would assume maynor would be part of it to dump his salary, and either lamb or jones would be the other piece, along with a draft pick. Portland is unlikely to re-sign hickson, and I am not sure what the lakers have to give for him. The problem would be signing hickson at the end of the season. It would eliminate the possibility to re-sign martin without a perk amnesty.

JJ Hickson's agent being contacted for trade possibilities...at 4 mil a year, he would be a manageable aquisition for the thunder...Any thoughts? I would hate to see the thunder let go of lamb or jones, but Hickson is 24, and collison isnt getting any younger...
Rumors that JJ Hickson's agent is being contacted about a trade...At 4 mil this season, that would open a lot of possibiities with the Thunder...any thoughts?

@Lambchop @KeyserSo7e @BallSoHard You must be watching different basketball games than I am. Nick is playing with extreme effectiveness, and looks better now than he did in the 2009-2010 season. He is an immediate impact off the bench, even though his stat line might not always impress.
