So we're basically going back to how it was when it started in 2005. I don't mind that, two-parters can be good, who doesn't love a cliff-hanger? Oh wait... my dad, he hates them. He won't be happy. Oh well haha.
23 hours, 17 minutes ago on Moffat Explains Series 9 Two-Parter Increase
Series 5 and 8 were definitely the better ones, but I felt series 5 had more powerful scenes, like the Van Gough ending and The Pandorica Opens speech, so that gets my vote.

Can we all just stop an appreciate something: In the Doctor Who universe, the film Alien exists, if the Doctor ever gets round to watching it, won't he think that John Hut's character doesn't half look familiar?.
Orange and round. Although I think it was more of an allusion to Santa.
I have no idea which way this poll will go(!)

I don't mind Time Lords changing gender via regeneration but I am against the Doctor himself becoming a woman. I think that would cause a lot of problems with the show and split fans. The way the world is, a lot of the media would view it in a more sexual way. Who would be her companion? If it was a still a female then you would get people complaining of lesbian undertones, if the companion were male then it would be difficult to pull off the fact that he is travelling with her just to see the stars and not the obvious. In the end The Doctor should always be male to keep in continuity, but I guess thats just an opinion.

I'm hoping to see Gus again so that doesnt bother me. The Paradigm Daleks absence definitely did annoy me. I was really disappointed that Listen had absolutely no resolution whatsoever and why two seemingly random group if robots has set their course to a Gallifreyan hard drive. Moffat, please go.
I don't mind either a new companion, or solo Doctor. Please Clara just go!!!!
3 months ago on Clara, or a New Companion for Series 9?
@Who is the Doctor needs his Clara In Britain, we don't use the word Season at all really in connection with TV, we call them Television Series and they have series 1, series 2 etc. I think with Doctor Who, we call the classic series by "season" because it's easier than saying "Classic series 8" or now "series 34".
3 months ago on Series 8’s Interesting Parallels to Season 8
My problem is that almost every Doctor Who finale has an obvious deus ex machina, Last of the Time Lords being the worst. Parting of the Ways I felt did it, Journey's End was just weird and doesn't make much sense, The Big Bang was just underwhelming after The Pandorica Opens, Name of the Doctor I actually liked, Deathin Heven was meh and my favourite was Doomsday as it felt powerful and a proper finale.

The current one is cool and all but it's really dark. All the others have been quite light but this one seems to dim, dark and gloomy. I would welcome a change and then stay like that for a long time.

I guess it's cool to have a clip but I really wish we would have something completely new, not a preview, not a prequel, but something like Time Crash.

It took me a while to get used to him but in the end I think he was rather good. The only problem is they kept changing is hair style from up to down, even in the middle of an episode! I actually reviewed the whole series on my website if anyone is interested.
Rehash Amy's Choice much?

I'm with the Doctor on this one, just like he explained with the Hitler scenario, he had no right to interfere with major human history. Clara had a right to be upset sure, but I think it was more shock than what was right/wrong.

@JamesStroud @Oliver J. "cool" Woah, I didn't say better than the 50th. It would take a LOT to get to that level.
@Klaas Smit @Oliver J. "cool" For me they the beginning on the moon was great, it had some brilliant tense moments, I thought the spiders (bacteria) looked good and threatening. The middle where they find out it was an egg I was a little unsure about but in the end they handled it well and I find the events plausible in the Whoniverse. The ending with Clara and the Doctor arguing caught be by suprise, so far I've loathed Clara since The Name of the Doctor, but this whole scene I thought she did great with and had some good points. All in all I'm glad it had no episode-contradicting lines or scenes and didn't affect an important part of the Doctor's life (darn you Listen!). But hey, it's all down to opinion and preference. :)
@Regenerated Catterson @Oliver J. "cool" Yeah, this episode was pretty quotable to say the least.
BEST LINE OF THE SERIES: "Aww, my Grandmother used to put things on Tumblr".
Wow. Wow. Wow. I LOVED that. That has got to be the best episode of Doctor Who since the 50th special.
