@jdolin Listen the Lakers history is great, yes Daddy buss was a great owner but that is over now your free agents are Swaggy, Hill and Ed Davis. Your only blockbuster deal was for for Lin. Jr cant run a team like daddy and guess what he is in charge of your future. J Buss couldn't even bring wifey Phil back, Lakers era is over and so is Kobe s career. He is one of the greatest players EVER but just like Jordan all great things come to an end. The spurs have as many rings in this era as the Lakers and guess what we are still in title contention and building for the post Duncan era. The Lakers are lotto team and squeaked into the playoff last year. So as the Lakers continue to decline all you have to hold onto is the past. Im not Jealose or hate on the lakers cause in reality it would be like hating on the bucks, since you are NBA equals now!

@gullyl56 he couldn't do it without Shaq till the Lakers pulled off that sham trade, Gasol for Kwame Brown was a joke. Then fisher weaseled his way out of his Jazz contract so they pulled a fast one but now the wrong Buss is in charge, welcome to 20 years of rebuilding

Your best would be to give us articles spurs related, talk about what they are doing for the community during the holidays, how players are starting to gel, break down the reason for such a hot start. Stuff real fans want to hear about their spurs

Funny when i Google Dejuan Blair the only articles i see connecting him to the spurs are all from Project spurs...Other then that everyone crediting him to the success of Mavs....Now i hate the Mavs but also hate seeing these articles about MAVS players

@Spursfan66 I completely understand that it is real hard to check out stats to  ESPN, Fox Sports or even Yahoo. I need a Neal quote after the bobcats game. i mean it is not breaking news that Bucks don't have a hall of fame player on the squad.

You dorks act like he is playing in pickup games at  the Y. He is making million and playing a larger role for an NBA team. I'm sure he learned his lesson that the grass isn't always greener on the other side...

Project Spurs really showed him...

All this motivation talk is nonsense, most NBA players retire around his age because their bodies cant perfom at an elite level. Motivation has not one thing to do with limitations, all great players get old and retire. The Spurs and Manu need to come to terms that his end is here. I know this is breaking news to some of you guys but it happens to all players even the great ones...

I don't care what he did in the past  that sounds even dumber then thinking we are going to see Manu productive like the good ol' days...No one has done more for this franchise then Robinson, but i don't want to see him suit up anytime soon.

Watching Manu production drop each year and turnovers increase is a tell-tell sign that he needs to hand them up...

How is that bitter, he felt he could have made a difference and if you haven't noticed what the spurs did didn't work., i was hoping to see something different on the court on those stretches when we couldn't get a basket or rebound. He might of brought some energy to the team when they went flat.
