@EephusBlue in my opinion it's worth it just to impersonate Shawn Green
I was thinking St. Louis as the darkhorse team for Greinke, hope I'm wrong
@EephusBlue I'd give Greinke 6/103, it's a higher aav than Weaver and leaves some room for Kersh to be more than above him. And I don't like excessive contracts
@LA Woman @Gilbert_Vengeance . I guess that's why they locked up Redmond for 3 years. Who would want that job now?
Watch Stanton lead the league in walks next year, why pitch to him at all at this point.
@Mike Petriello @WBBsAs Hee Seop Choi in my opinion had massive holes in his swing and was exploited by MLB pitching. Great in BP, not so much in the games. For me he was the poster boy for moneyball, overall stats look ok but were inflated by short bursts of production.
McCarthy would actually be my preference, over Anibal, Lohse, etc. While he isn't a #1 durable ace he can help get the team to the playoffs. After that anyone can have a good run ... Or get lit up by a fat bear.
Late to party but I think this is what a manager is supposed to be good at. Put the players where they are the best for the team and get the most out of them. Girardi, Francona, Fredi G., Torre, La Russa did this well; Valentine, Ozzie (this year) not so much. How Hanley helps the Dodgers next year will be a good indication of how Donnie manages the club, in my opinion.
