on offense we rarely move the ball consistently when the game is close. we drop balls, we miss blocks, we literally trip over ourselves....or palmer decides to sling it seemingly blindfolded....look we have a fragile "star back " whose production in five years is little better than average , a 70 year old QB who never was that good and is fast approaching poor...a set of wide outs who i happen to like...but dont seem coached....an invisible o line ...a scheme that fits like a brick and a coach who leads the league in how to rape your own team at half time....my god i wish we were rebuilding.

looking at defense....i would keep houston , wheeler and burris... that's it and only it....huff was poor at safety and even worse at corner...and so what if he made the change that's what being a team player is about...you do what you have to do, just hopefully not that badly. branch is not a favorite of mine and i see him as serviceable at best. giordano is not fit for the silver and black and it says a lot about where we are that he even is on the rosta. fat slow rolando can go and i dont care where just as long as it aint here. the whole d line is an underachieving disgrace (except houston).

offense....wow we are the nfl leaders in garbage time...stop telling me how many bloody yards palmer is on for...its all relative, jeff george lit it up for us but i was well glad he didnt stick around...palmer must go.....

look we aint rebuilding, to suggest that would be to suggest some sort of plan and logic at work....clearly not the case.

@DChristin we lack depth ,we lack character and we lack first team talent....we have no discipline we are incapable of picking up on the concept of scheme .... in-game adjustments don't happen .

we do however like padding stats in garbage time ....that we can do as most of our second halves are garbage time from the get go.

an utter shambles...disgusting display a total mockery of all we once stood for... gut the whole bloody lot of them, our defense is a study of ineptitude...tackling and communication clearly are rumors the raiders don't hold faith with..my god we looked bloody awful..

now as a teenager i was unlucky enough to sit in rich stadium as Jim Kelly and co gashed us for half a hundred  ...but that day the bills would have put that up on any team...they were fantastic....today we just flat out stunk ...

@Indy! you are correct in your evaluation ....tho i think the bolts will turn on the jets at some point... trading DMC would be a great move and a monkey off our backs...i always liked bush better anyhow..the fact is serviceable rbs can be picked up handy enough amd dmc has trade value , but it is diminishing week on week.

concerning seymour, again correct....money that can be better spent elsewhere

4 to 6 is about right....i don't buy the "if we win next week we are back in it tho" the bolts schedule eases up enough to let them put distance between us.....a moot point however, we are in a complete rebuild and it takes time. i reckon 3 years from now we will be a consistent force  . by that time few if any of our "skill" position players will still be on the rosta (not a bad thing) the foundations are being put in place but the building takes time

the blame game...get pretty good at that one following my raiders...last ten years has been a constant exercise in " find the scapegoat and print the posters and send them to the left" remember how we blamed good old bill for trying to force our veterans out , norv for well being norv...lane for same reason...tommy boy had some spunk but when we got ahead of ourselves in expectation he had to go....hue for shackling us to a used up 90 year old qb that wasnt that good to begin with......so new year new goat....enter for the second time the knapster, the embodiment of mediocre the master of the dull.......or is he...dmac is my goat, one good year and thats it...come on people we should expect way more than that..i mean lets be honest is he giving us any more than Harvey Williams or Tyrone did back in the day ...no....is he any more of a duel threat than charlie was...no.....is he durable , is he consistent is he bloody worth it...NO....trade dmac and lets reload and not just readjust.

in a strange way i felt worse after this win than i did last week after we lost. the first half was a shambles , and i fear the second half display has done little other than paper over some ugly cracks.

we may very well beat kc, tho i fear tampa will torch our secondary....the point is , we aint very good and reality bites like a bitch
