Vinnie was on his game last night, I mean, REALLY on his game....he sounded energized as if last night's events set the time machine back to 1978...I will take 70% of Scully over 100% of anyone else...

Whatever happened to Jeremy Hazelbaker? I didn't see any news of him being released or traded...wasn't he the last link to Rafael Furcal since he was traded for Alex Castellanos who was traded for Rafi...

Elian Herrera's bright, shining moment as a Dodger was when he made a game saving catch in left field against the Angels in Anaheim...at that point in 2012, it looked as if he might actually stick with the club, but it went topsy-turvy from there...

It ain't my money, but if the Dodgers make a qualifying offer to Michael Young, they could do a lot worse given the names mentioned here...Young is a borderline HOFer unlike any of the above suspects...also, he has played all four infield positions albeit mostly the corners the past five seasons. And with that qualifying offer, it represents a pay cut for Young and it's only for one year...

With a runner on third base, Marmol's career OBA is .310; with the bases loaded, it's .333, and with runners on the corners and nobody out, it's FIVE-friggin-HUNDRED...on the bright side, Marmol has a career ERA at Dodger Stadium of 2.25 and L.A. hit only .179 against him.

The most pressing need for L.A. is a 4th OF...if there is an Ethier deal, it would have to net TWO outfielders since, at this point, the backups are Jerry Hairston, Jr. and Alex Castellanos. Really??

Escobar was 20th in the NL MVP voting in 2009 when he was with the Braves...his production has trended downward since then but he's still 29...I believe his stock is down because of his dumb remarks and even dumber apology, so we should take a run at him since we could get him on the cheap...
