Marketing, Graphic Design, Making connections is what I love about what I do.
How did I miss this?!
Ahh yes as you get older you get a bit more perspecitive on things. I think back to some of the things I said and did and totally cringe or laugh at my absolutle niavety.

@biggreenpen @amandalgant yup. People are surprised when I tell them I am actually really shy. My boss even laughed at me. He completly thought I was joking.

Can I just say I am so glad that I have not been part of a crises (knock on my screen). Yet I read all this advice so that when I am faced with this issue that I will hopefully not panic and make the correct decisions.
You are going in the vault for future reference. :)

Wonderful answer for the "10 years" I wouldn't want to miss a moment with my noodles.
I don't have any mimosas - we do have beer in the work fridge though and the bar is always downstairs... @belllindsay @Howie Goldfarb @annhandley

@annhandley thank you. I have found that if I just go back at times it sticks out like a sore thumb and other times it is more like a needle in a haystack but I eventually the issue is found.
@ClayMorgan I like that! Yes eating is good motivation :)
Came to the party late - but I read someone say once that when writing if you get writers block that it is not really writers block but that the story went wrong somewhere a few chapters back and somehow you know this and just need to go back and fix it.
What are your thoughts on that?
Super excited about this talk! I never thought I would be writing as much as I am for work. Trust me I need all the help I can get :)
I am horrible at updating my twitter account - I do the work one all day but then forget about mine. I am trying to be better. I have recently downloaded a new twitter app for my mobile so that I can separate my work and personal account. (the app I have now it's hard to tell which one I am in) I am hoping that will help things.

The advantage of working for a small agency in a niche market is that we really get to know our clients and they suggest us to others - which helps us all grow. Also I am constantly doing something different and learning new skills along the way.
Ahhh but a big firm with an over seas office would be fun to try out :)

We have talked about this at work. For exmple we don't check into foursquare when we are visiting in with clients onsite because it would look like we spent the day bar hopping. LOL

@Jen Novotny I have a friend who uses her professional state employee email for everything! I have tried to mention that this might not be a great idea but she has been doing it for 20 years and.... Apparently it is to hard to check multiple accounts.?
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

My parents owned a coffee shop and we tried it all. :) if you like chai latte ask for a shot of espresso it gives your chai a little 'hello morning' kick.

Finally had a chance to read this post! I shared it on my Relay For Life page.
My mom is going through chemo right now for colon cancer and she has continued to work (she works a flexible scheduling grading standerized tests)
I think working has helped her because it gives her something different to focus on and talk about. Thank you so much for sharing!

@NealSchaffer @Eleanor Pierce We also post all our articles on our Pinterest page.
We get some traffic from that as well.
@Eleanor Pierce @aimeelwest We do not use the paid the discovery. We just upload a link to our articles on our page and that is it. We don't even like other articles or do much else with it. We still see a return from it. I am sure if we used it more we would see even more of a return but for right now that works for us.
@NealSchaffer aww coffee elixer of the gods.... :) black or with cream / sugar?
@LauraPetrolino @aimeelwest @belllindsay I am really loving it to.
@Eleanor Pierce We use StumbleUpon for all our articles. We see a fair amount of traffic from it. Certainly not as high as Facebook but still worth it to take the moment to add our articles their.
@belllindsay We have been using instagram more especially the day of events.
@LauraPetrolino Great Question!
@Eleanor Pierce I was just about to ask the same question. I know people who spend a fortune on facebook advertising.
I feel the same way @belllindsay
Good Afternoon every one! @biggreenpen have a drink for me! I'll be popping in and out.

@JoeCardillo YES!! Seriously are we adults or not?! I mean come on. If you don't want to learn and grow by reading what is in the book just say so. Don't blame it on the title of the book.

Whew!! $12,000 a month for rent is a lot when it is just a storage area. I love that you work from everywhere it lets you snag up the best and the brightest without them having to uproot their lives. (unless they want to) Plus with different time zones people are always available.

@KateFinley Thank you @RJRichards I will check it out.
@KateFinley @heatherallen109 @mhoying @VictoriaMaloney Happy Friday! Thanks for the fun hour.
@KateFinley @aimeelwest @RJRichards I have made some of the best contacts by just going to places or meet ups that I know others will be at.
How do you get the salon quality hair? :)
@KateFinley @RJRichards I know my boss and others have used local BNI groups and other networking groups in our area to connect and talk with people.
@KateFinley @aimeelwest @heatherallen109 YEA!!
@KateFinley @KristenSmithspirations I am going to check that out we are always looking for fresh content and ours is certainly a niche blog.
@KateFinley @aimeelwest @heatherallen109 Hmm who do I know who lives in the area??? Or maybe I'll just have to do a road trip and give you a hug myself! Can we do lunch afterward? Cause my hugs are that great.
@KateFinley @heatherallen109 We should create a hug doll for people who work from home. Oh or maybe someone can just come to your door and give you a hug.
Have you seen the lady who naps with people?
