@ginidietrich @allpointspr100 I wonder if it would cook quicker since it would be flat.

Sounds like an interesting way to cook a turkey. I cook a huge turkey every year though so I don't know if I would be able to get it to fit in my stove like that. :)

Ok love me some Taylor Swift dancing and that news anchor needs to learn to laugh a little. Life is too short to be snobby. LOL

I was just thinking about finding a wake up app. I hate the blaring from my phone and all our alarm clocks have been handed out to our kids never to be seen again. LOL

@Joshua Wilner/A Writer Writes I think we are a better prepared generation. Not only did we grow up learning how to do it by hand but we were also able to grow with technology and use it.

Every gernations wants to work smarter than the one before, that is in part what drives technology.

I am on the younger end of Gen X and I HATE voice mail. I will let it build for days before I finally check it. But I am also not a fan of text speak. The funny part is, is neither of my children use text speak either.

My mom who is part of the Baby Boomer Generation jumped on board with texting. She is hearing imparied (hearing aids and cochlear implant) so talking on the phone can be a challenge. She loves to text.

Love this from @Mary Rose Maguire " it's not necessarily a cut-and-dried scenario within the various generations. The best solution for me is to just ask. :-)"

Came to the party late - but I read someone say once that when writing if you get writers block that it is not really writers block but that the story went wrong somewhere a few chapters back and somehow you know this and just need to go back and fix it.

What are your thoughts on that?

I am horrible at updating my twitter account - I do the work one all day but then forget about mine. I am trying to be better. I have recently downloaded a new twitter app for my mobile so that I can separate my work and personal account. (the app I have now it's hard to tell which one I am in) I am hoping that will help things.

The advantage of working for a small agency in a niche market is that we really get to know our clients and they suggest us to others - which helps us all grow. Also I am constantly doing something different and learning new skills along the way.

Ahhh but a big firm with an over seas office would be fun to try out :)

My mom is going through chemo right now for colon cancer and she has continued to work (she works a flexible scheduling grading standerized tests)

I think working has helped her because it gives her something different to focus on and talk about. Thank you so much for sharing!
