@Eleanor Pierce I KNOW!!! WHEW!
Oh I didn't know that was a Hebrew name. Thanks @Joshua Wilner/A Writer Writes
Finally had a chance to read this post! I shared it on my Relay For Life page.
My mom is going through chemo right now for colon cancer and she has continued to work (she works a flexible scheduling grading standerized tests)
I think working has helped her because it gives her something different to focus on and talk about. Thank you so much for sharing!

@NealSchaffer @Eleanor Pierce We also post all our articles on our Pinterest page.
We get some traffic from that as well.
@Eleanor Pierce @aimeelwest We do not use the paid the discovery. We just upload a link to our articles on our page and that is it. We don't even like other articles or do much else with it. We still see a return from it. I am sure if we used it more we would see even more of a return but for right now that works for us.
@NealSchaffer aww coffee elixer of the gods.... :) black or with cream / sugar?
@LauraPetrolino @aimeelwest @belllindsay I am really loving it to.
@Eleanor Pierce We use StumbleUpon for all our articles. We see a fair amount of traffic from it. Certainly not as high as Facebook but still worth it to take the moment to add our articles their.
@belllindsay We have been using instagram more especially the day of events.
@LauraPetrolino Great Question!
@Eleanor Pierce I was just about to ask the same question. I know people who spend a fortune on facebook advertising.
I feel the same way @belllindsay
Good Afternoon every one! @biggreenpen have a drink for me! I'll be popping in and out.

@JoeCardillo YES!! Seriously are we adults or not?! I mean come on. If you don't want to learn and grow by reading what is in the book just say so. Don't blame it on the title of the book.

Whew!! $12,000 a month for rent is a lot when it is just a storage area. I love that you work from everywhere it lets you snag up the best and the brightest without them having to uproot their lives. (unless they want to) Plus with different time zones people are always available.

@KateFinley @aimeelwest @heatherallen109 @mhoying @VictoriaMaloney Your welcome! You and your team are always such fun to talk to. How could I not hang out with you all for an hour.

@KateFinley Thank you @RJRichards I will check it out.
@KateFinley @heatherallen109 @mhoying @VictoriaMaloney Happy Friday! Thanks for the fun hour.
@KateFinley @aimeelwest @RJRichards I have made some of the best contacts by just going to places or meet ups that I know others will be at.
How do you get the salon quality hair? :)
@KateFinley @RJRichards I know my boss and others have used local BNI groups and other networking groups in our area to connect and talk with people.
@KateFinley @aimeelwest @heatherallen109 YEA!!
@KateFinley @KristenSmithspirations I am going to check that out we are always looking for fresh content and ours is certainly a niche blog.
@KateFinley @aimeelwest @heatherallen109 Hmm who do I know who lives in the area??? Or maybe I'll just have to do a road trip and give you a hug myself! Can we do lunch afterward? Cause my hugs are that great.
@KateFinley @heatherallen109 We should create a hug doll for people who work from home. Oh or maybe someone can just come to your door and give you a hug.
Have you seen the lady who naps with people?
Great point with the music @VictoriaMaloney @mhoying I always have music playing. Sometimes I have to change it because I notice that I design somewhat differently with different music playing.
@heatherallen109 @mhoying @KateFinley that is what I have to do write down goals I want done and when I want to get them done. Then I do them no matter how cute the puppy looks.....
Was there a moment in time where you thought "yes! I got this!"
@VictoriaMaloney @KateFinley I get that. I love being up early and getting things done but I also enjoy working on things at night when the house is quiet and everyone is gone. I tend to burn both ends of the day though.
@KateFinley Thanks! I am going to check those out.
How do keep everyone on track? Is there this massive spread sheet in cyber space somewhere? Especially since you are all over.
@KateFinley I am sure there are days you scream in terror afraid you will drop off the track and other days you scream cause well you lived through it and you can! :)
What is something that you wish you had told yourself a year ago?
Congrats on a whole year!! I am sure it has been both parts fun and terrorizing. Just like the perfect roller coaster ride :)
Thanks @JoeCardillo I'm a little late to the party but I'm here now :) YES! I would love a SpinCon meet up. We should totally plan one and take Chicago by storm.

@Howie Goldfarb YES! I hate those stupid K cups. I was at a train show with my parents and I was looking at mugs a vendor had for sale and her selling point was that her mugs would hold a full serving from a K cup. I set the cup down and thought "well she missed the mark with that selling point to me" I bought cooler cups from a local train group that was selling theirs as a fundraiser. No mention of Kcups!

That is exactly how I found this fabulous group. I was new to marketing and looking for advice and well this group and Gini seemed the most 'real' and not fake people. I didn't want to be told that it was easy I wanted the 'blood and guts' stories and success.
I am sure some of the people I may never see in RL but to coin a phrase from RAT I feel that many are my EFF.

This is a really interesting article to me on multiple levels.
While working at a cooperative I saw first hand companies that put ethics before profits. Some of these were small, family owned business that would never be global much less across the US. There were some though that were HUGE (million dollars a year co.) and they found a way to make share holders and "the good of the people" (thanks @JoeCardillo) happy.
I wish I could remember the company but I can't. The board had to sign an agreement that they would lead with ethics before profit. Which I thought was an interesting idea.
Thanks @LauraPetrolinonow I'm going to go have a bowl of ice cream.
I agree with you @Eleanor Pierce I can't imagine being the person who even thought this was a good idea to send out. @LauraPetrolino

@ginidietrich @belllindsay That is why I never lie I could never remember who I told what. LOL
I always told my kids I would rather hear the truth than find out a lie later. I always made the punishment worse if they lied first, rather than telling the truth.
@ginidietrich Thank you! Oh I will look into Scrivener for a friend who is writing a book.
