I love this list! It's funny I had never heard of or seen the selfie on a stick until a recent trip to China. I saw them everywhere. The one thing I kept wondering about was how would someone actually take the image with the phone being so far away. But since being back, I have started to see products that solve that problem.
Also, if you looking for a good magazine suggestion check out "The Week" The mag. curates the past weeks news and presents what various news and magazines wrote on trending issues. It has a little bit of everything in it, covers things that happened worldwide.

While I may glance at the number of people following someone, I follow people because I am interested in what they have to say. Buying followers doesn't make someone any smarter or worthier of my time, or I would venture to guess anyone else's time.

@ginidietrich @Soulati | Hybrid PR I looked into Talkwalker earlier this year the first time I hear (through your blog post) that Google Alerts might be going away. While it gave me more articles/results, the quality wasn't there. It could be my search words, but most of the time it Talkwalker's results weren't right. Where as Google Alerts gives me what I need.

@belllindsay I second that sentiment for Google Alerts!
@biggreenpen I had to chuckle when I saw that in the post ... I have been thinking about joining Weight Watchers.
@ginidietrich I wonder how much of this is because they don't understand what they are looking at so most just don't do it.
Chuck , this may be a question answered in your book (I need to read it), but are there some data that one should pay more attention to than other? I can't believe everything is equal.
@lizreusswig This was exactly what I was thinking. Great post @allenmireles. I would also add, though I am not in any position to do hiring, that being interested in learning new things and being curious are other attributes that can go a long way.

Hearing about ID theft any any fashion and seeing it in action are two different things. Thank you for post today. It made me shiver to see Amy's photo used on a fraud account. While I don't know her, it is creepy to think that people would do this.

@ginidietrich Definitely. It is so easy to get think "everyone knows that" (at least for me),client questions help me realize what information I take for granted.

This is really great thanks @ginidietrich for sharing. Now I just have to connect the dots 1) pick a key work I want/think I should be ranking for, 2) use this nifty tool to see what the competition I am up again, 3) pick one a related local, low ranking key word (is competition is high around the initial word, 4) write, write and write some more. Sounds easy enough ;) Humm, now to select the keyword ...
@Carmelo @RebeccaTodd It is the "mostly" part that makes me laugh and smile - perhaps I don't know enough about everyone here to be scared yet.

I am definitely one of those guilty of reading this blog religiously, but not participating ... but I just had to offer up birthday well wishes. Happy belated Birthday Carmelo.
